This is a wonderful story -- I confess I had somehow missed the other installments, or I would have commented before. I'm glad to see my humble mirth energy concept put to such good use by you and Strelnikov. I love that it gives at least a semi-plausible (in sci-fi terms) reason for tickling in all kinds of situations -- and you're taking advantage of that with consummate skill!
