Just a few suggestions,,,
Read at least 50 OLD posts from the Tickling Discussion area, then comment on just one or two of them.
Look at the Pen Pals area, and drop one or two people a SHORT hello note. 3-to-10 sentences should be enough.
Don't display low self esteem, and don't display arrogant conceit. Believe me, the TMF has plenty of characters on both ends of the spectrum. The middle-road is the place to be here.
Give it AT LEAST six months before you declare the TMF a wasteland or nirvanna. It can easily be either for anyone.
Publicly post only stuff that you really think contributes to others' enjoyment of the TMF. I don't have a zillion posts and I'm still okay in the minds of about 99.99% of the members (especially the mods, and they count the most). You're fine with a dozen or two posts.
Beware of TMF addiction. If you do become addicted, contact me for my psychotherapy counseling service; regularly priced at $150, but reduced by half for TMF members.
