I meant this partly as satire,but really that's pretty much how i feel.I'm to damn old to waste my time playing games and worrying much about bs.


I think i'm a pretty nice guy and i try to treat everyone with respect unless or until they give me a reason not to.When that happens i can be a real ass.Honesty goes a long way with me even if i don't like the answer.I like knowing where i stand,and i will return the favor.

I can be a moody misreable jerk sometimes.What you see is pretty much what you get here.It takes a lot to really get me pissed off most of the time and when that happens i sometimes shoot from the lip without thinking.

And if someone does me wrong,when i cool off and remember that i am human also i'm usually pretty quick to forgive and forget.I've got plenty of water under my bridge.🙂

I wouldn't ask these kinda questions away from this forum, simply because it takes away the natural progression of finding yourself and the challenge of finding your place within a community, therefore making the process somewhat artificial.

Here's my advice to everybody: Never worry about how you're coming across, just take care of what you really are.

You're right as usual mils but you did get me to thinking with this short yet profound statement.

All of these "come across" threads were started by someone not looking for validation or gratification. I think she saw it as an opportunity to discover self and growth and I personally see nothing wrong with that. If that wasn't the case, her response to what myself and a few others posted (somewhat scathingly after thinking about it retrospectively) wouldn't have been as controlled, thoughtful, and mature as they were.

I have since unsubscribed from that thread because it got destroyed by someone who couldn't handle some of the criticisms his friend was getting and started lashing out instead of staying out of it and letting her handle her own thread. I complimented her on taking the risk of putting herself out there and taking the bad better than the good. In her case, I think the thread was appropriate.

The other ones; I have no idea what most of them are thinking about.
