I had posted on another thread on this board about a friend I have.

Married, straight, but gay friendly. He would tease me about me tickling him, I told him I would do it one day. His worst spot is his feet.

Well, this past Friday night, we met at a club. It was his birthday, so we had a special VIP section in the back of the club.

He shows up, and sits next to me, and we're goofing around, and having fun. the convo somehow turns to foot rubs, and he says that his wife doesn't like feet, and she won't give him one. Suddenly, he pulls off his shoe, and starts to poke me with his foot.

I was shocked. Why? His other friends, and wife were all there watching. They all know I'm gay, so they thought it was funny, that he would essentially ask a gay man for help on this matter, instead of trying to persuade his wife.

I was so surprised, I just pushed his foot away, and told him to knock it off. I just felt like I would've been disrespecting his wife. He IM'ed me the next day, and says "I knew you'd be all talk and no action."

all this comes back to the conversation in the beggining of the movie Pulp Fiction. a foot rub is a foot rub. same goes for tickling. he's straight, so if you go too far to where it borderlines an afair, he'd let you know way a head a time. my opinion is that you can tie him up and tickle his feet, and there shouldn't be a problem. so a foot rub or a quick tickle, shouldn't be a problem.

Well... I don't see it as a "failure".

He had teased you before his wife and friends; willingly or not, he'd put you in a tricky situation.

It would have been embarassing for anyone, regardless of sexual preferences, in your situation.

You probably felt watched, almost under scrutiny. Tickling him would have been like coming out with your tickle fetish - something nobody would do lightheartedly, especially before strangers.

Maybe it felt wrong; maybe you had pictured it in a different way.
Instead, he'd got you off-balance: he won the initiative, so to speak, and counted on your surprise to stop you from reacting.

Coming up with a little revenge, as other suggested, isn't such a bad idea.
If I were in your shoes, I'd be pissed.
I used to hate it when people forced or tricked me into confronting my fetish.

He was so "open", before his family; why don't you find out just how friendly he really is, when nobody is around?

Maybe he's "all talk, no action" too, without his pals backing him up. 😉
