When i was searching the net i searched tickling but all the same things came up! that's when i had an idea, instead of searching 'tickle' i searched 'cosquillas'
which is Spanish for tickling and some interresting sites came up!
I also did this for yahoo and msn!
So go out and try it!

I can tell you looking for solletico in italian yields few working urls: it has been already noted by porno webmasters, so you get the usual virus-ridden bad stuff.

Also, a tv prog used to be called "Solletico", so through google you should set "-rai -tv" to exclude it.
[Rai being the national italian tv. We don't have cable tv as such].

If I could help you a bit, "soffrire il solletico" means "being ticklish". There's no single word conveying the idea.

"Soffro il solletico" means "I'm ticklish", and "soffre il solletico" "he/she is ticklish".

Of course there's no such translation for "ticklish ribs" or "feet", so you can't look specifically for them.

On the other hand, italian ppl routinely surfing the web usually pick up a smattering of english, so at least the index page to italian sites holds the word "tickling" or "ticklish".

They are few and far between, though - and most of those I could find myself were mostly footfetish oriented.

I think and hope that russian and czech words for tickling are close.
Type the " ł "as " l " - laskotki : cause some polish letters have special accents :
ą - ę - ć - ś - ń - ó - ź - ż for the linguists 🙂
I think also that in german you could say empfindlich ( correct spell ? )

Oh yes, there we go: origin is uncertain, maybe subleticare/solliticare in vulgar latin - meaning to hint, elicit, solicit.

Titillo/titillonis is the older classical synonim, dropped from everyday use - I guess - as early as I-II A.D.

Actually there is only a polish tickling forum as well - and the main tickling page is the Armiranta's one. I saw some italian too, i search by that page cause it contains many different languages - here it is some maybe do already know it 🙂
