I Have a Computer Question?

I was looking to buy a new computer.When,they say a computer is "refurbished",I think that's the correct spelling,lol.What does that mean.

The computer has the outward appearance of an older computer, but they probably changed out the processor, hard drive, added RAM. Things like that.

Refurbished can also mean used. A new computer sold, and then returned, and put out to sale again. I see a lot of that up here.
