I love Snakes, unless they're Venomous. But I love Reading and watching TV Shows about them on Animal Planet.
And Friend I had, her father had like 5 Snakes in his Office at their House. I got to see them get Fed, and Fed them myself. That's how I got into them.
And I've been Bitten by one Before. Luckily it wasn't Poisonous, it was just a Small Common Rat Snake.
I have a jellyfish phobia for the same reason. Got stung when I was a teen.
I'm not phobic of snakes exactly, but I don't like them, and I certainly wouldn't
want one loose in my house. Poisonous bites are enough of a deterrent, and plus
they are slithery!
I've never seen a snake in real life that wasn't behind glass at a zoo (or behind handled by a zoo keeper while others were allowed to pet it) and most times at the zoo, they're not even moving, so I've never felt fear upon seeing one. However, if I went in my backyard and saw one slithering around, I'd probably freak out.
Worms, now them shits are terrifying. Had a kid put one in my hair when I was about 5 and it took hours to get out... in bits. So yeah, when it rains, I always watch where I walk. Bleh.
