Some people can, others can't. (Though I don't know of anyone who can't) As Myriads pointed out, just seeing or hearing it is enough for some. If no one could get aroused without participating, tickling video producers would go out of business.

Funny you should ask this question because this is exactly the situation I've been wondering about. This is my "dilemna": Here on TMF, it seems that most people designate themselves as 'lers or 'lees or a combination of the two. Given only those two options I'd call myself a 'ler, but the fact is that I would rather just watch someone (preferably female) be tickled mercilessly without necessarily taking part in the tickling. I still enjoy tickling my wife as I rarely get an opportunity to simply observe a tickling attack on another female, barring videos (I've never seen one in its entirety), of course. So, (not that I'm in an all-out hurry to classify myself according to tickling preference), if one is neither 'lee nor 'ler nor a switcher, but still gets turned on immensely by the sight of a helpless female being tickle-tortured mercilessly, what designation is reserved for this particular sub-group? Again, this is not a critical issue; it's just something I've been kicking around in my hesd. Anyone reading this who might have some input, or maybe someone else out there who has similar feelings, please respond and help shed a little light on the subjct.

Interesting question. I still enjoy tickling even though I have not found a woman who would either tickle me or let me tickle her. I certainly would like to meet someone like that. For me tickling is a very sexual thing so I would not tickle someone or let them tickle me if I was not attracted to them. This is probably why I have not snuck in any tickles on any other ladies because I would feel odd if I were not attracted to them or if they were married already.

I hope someday I meet the right woman until then I'll just settle for videos and magazines.
