I still love you all but damn there are sooo many pics in the clips section of this forum...and so many vid producers advertising...I've been down with the tickling community since 1995, and I havent seen it at this level...I guess I have to adjust, or migrate

Why would you not want to know about new tickling media and producers? If it wasnt for them many pictures and videos you see here wouldnt be here.

I agree. I mean don't get me wrong producers who want to advertise is fine but people come to this part of the site expecting clips and there are none. The site should have a special section for updates and ads so that people at least know what to expect.

Very true, but he's not complaining about the fact that you advertise, he's complaining about the fact that there are sooo many advertisments that you can't even find a normal free clip around here anymore (as we dutch people say "can't see the forest because of the trees")

I agree with Sadi. We come to this section to see clips everyone can download.. but instead half the threads are advertisements for clips that we need to pay for. There really should be a new section for advertisers so we won't spend so much time looking for a free clip.

I just wanted to lend a voice of support for a separate forum on the TMF for advertising. To be honest, it doesn't bother me to go to the Clip forum and see an ad, because I expect them and recognize the poster as a company representative/owner/whatever. I still click on them because I want to see if it's something I'm interested in purchasing. However, while it doesn't bother me, it clearly bothers others, and it seems proper that ads would be separated from free content.

On other sites, such as CNN.com or others, no one would visit a separate section for ads that, there, would be mostly unwelcome and annoying. Here, I think that people would still visit a separate forum, because the pay media that is produced is truly better in most cases than what else is around.

If a separate forum worked, wouldn't it make everybody happy? Perhaps it could be presented as a trial for a month or two, and if people ignored it (which I seriously doubt), the mods could switch things back to how it is now.

Just a thought...

I am not complaining about a producers right to advertise, but I do think that we are getting hammered in the clips section with a lot of pics and ads when in the "video/audio" clips section there should be just that video and audio clips not ads to buy them. I mean I love jeff (honestly) but where ever you go in this site the first thing you see is his ads...then when you come in this section (which i have started doing less and less) you get greeted with ads and pics of ads in almost every topic line....man its ok to advertise but it really should have its own section.

take it or leave it...

TIB dont get me wrong man I have been a HUGE fan of your work since the beginning and I know that the game would be seriously lacking without you but,this is just how I feel.

obviously, i'm neither a moderator nor the administrator of this forum. but just for the record, i'd have no problem at all with a separate place for advertisements to be placed.

or maybe just the requirement that all advertisements must have

(ADV)

at the beginning of the posts title?

that way you could all just skip every post with (ADV) in the title, and not have to see the hideous and tiresome advertisement tickling pictures and descriptions. 🙂

Hello!!!

What are you people not listening? I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ADVERTISING!!!!! I just thought it should be stuck somewhere else. What I do have a problem with lately is producers constantly in your face begging for appreciation. I mean ok we are all thankful you make the videos but hello!!! If you don't want to do it then don't. Besides where does the money go when the videos get sold? It's not like you do it and never get anything in return. Anyone else here getting a littled tired of hearing poor pitiful me?

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned that we already do have such a forum here: Links / Page Updates! In fact the producers usually do post there as well as here when new material is released (note that cross-posting is usually frowned upon in proper netiquette, and does waste a small amount of forum database space 😛).

Perhaps a new section should be created for advertising-for-new-paid-for-clips, as distinct from picture-site updates...

Or indeed it could be a requirement that ads have to have (Adv) at the beginning of their titles - if so it would be nice to have an option in the forum setup for users to disable showing such threads in the list. I always visit the Page Updates forum as well as clips and it's a irritiating to see lots of new threads only to find they're just cross-posts of current ones.
