I must be losing my mind

So i wake up Saturday morning..i turn off the fan, i'm sure i turn off the burglar alarm system...we have two burglar alarm pads, one in the bedroom and one downstairs..i then turn on the internet..i always thought the burglar alarm must be turned off first before i can turn on the internet..as we have DSL connection which runs thru the phone, as does the burglar alarm..and the internet comes up as usual..so then i feed the cat, clean out her litter box..then i go downstairs..and yikessssssssss...sirens sound, lights flash..the cat runs upstairs..i'm jumping up and down like a chicken with her head cut off..i hear a calm voice from upstairs.."hit the numbers to shut it off" now i'm sure i would have thought of that myself in time..but the thing is..i'm sure, i mean really sure i turned off the burglar alarm upstairs..damn...i must be losing my mind..

I've heard say that one of the major pollution issues in our water supply is drug residues. Pile the as-yet not-fully-understood effects of microwave radiation from cell phones, wi-fi, satellite communications, etc., residual effects of magnetic fields from high-tension wires and such, and it's a wonder any of us can function at all!

Hitler had absolute power as he was the goverment of Germany. The democracy was dead. Germany was a socialist country now. The hatred could now be aimed at the communists, jews and undesirables.

The politicians of the day bent over backwards to not offend him. Germany had become a player in Europe again. The Allies thought the Versilles Treaty would at least put the brakes on the runaway train. It didn't.

yes i read all that, i also read that if Hitler had died in 1937, he would have been considered one of the greatest leaders in the world..i admit he did do some good for the economic situation that had risen in Germany after the first World War...i've watched several videos of his speeches on youtube...

It's funny, last night on Ngeo, i watched about the new Nazi groups that had formed in the United States...and what i found amusing, was that Nazism, and the Socalist Party he had created died when he fired that bullet into his brain..when Hitler ordered the burning of certain books in Germany that affected the entire country..when these smaller groups here in the US did the same thing..what impact did it have in the long run? None..

I find that unlike the hair dryer, it's actually quite simpler to sit inside of the truck, instead of attempting to hold it. I hope this clarifies the issue. 🙂

My wife gave me the cat's dishes tonite. I opened the fridge to get something and still had the dishes in my hand ready to put them in the where the butter should go.

She reminded me on how many times I have attempted to do that and when will I succeed?

Hitler didn't create the anti-semitism in Germany, it was already there. The German people were hungry, even starving after WW1; hungry humans become like rabid animals. Book burning, censorship, political prisoners, secret police, torture; all these things are just the generic tactics of tyrants.

I was explaining to a (non-white) friend the other day how the neo-nazi "aryans" and white supremacists are the lunatic fringe of the white "race", and an embarassment to us (I hate the term "race"; there's only one "race" of humans, and it includes everyone)

Racism is just a generic stupidity of the ignorant all over the world, whatever color they are. A typical generic bad behavior, like stealing or drug use. Low-lifes are usually racist along with all their other failings. The people wanted the jews out of germany also, but I have watched some shows on History channel and the military channel that suggest that not all Germans felt that killing them was the thing to do.

FWIW, I got through listening to a radio interview with Chip Berlet this afternoon. The most frightening thing he said was that most Americans tolerate gangs of paramilitary terrorists ("militias") as though they were the most normal thing in the world. He pointed out that if these groups consisted of Pakistanis or Iraquis, the authorities would be all over them like stink on shit, but since they're made up of white Americans, people think those groups - just as dangerous as anything from Hitler's time - are perfectly normal, and that Sarah Palin pointing to Democratic political districts and telling her followers to "reload" on Fox News is nothing to get upset about.
