I want out of here! How do I get out of this forum at least delete me out of here!

Per our rules:
The owners of TickleTheater.com retain the right to store and publish on the forums the content of any posts, for an indefinite period of time, and have no obligations to delete, edit or move posts per the request of current or former users. The owners also have no obligations to remove or edit user accounts and member profiles.
We would be happy to change your username if you so wish that. Just send a PM to any administrator with the username you would like to be changed to.

Stop posting? He never posted until this! I'd say he was doing a great job not being here until this. Lulz!

Run fer yer life before the Theater eats you!! RUN!! :scared

Sounding like you hate the board in question and making it sound like you're demanding the admins to cater to your needs will really get people to do what you want. :rolleyes

As for getting out of here, there's the log out option, then see that big red button with the x in it? Click that. You're well on your way to never coming back to TT again! ^o^

I'm assuming that it's a different account that they want deleted. It can be the case that a user was "found out" by someone they know and want to quickly get rid of any incriminating evidence.

OP, my advice if the above is true of you, is to PM one of the admins outlining why you want your account deleted. If they don't want to, then you'll have to go to each of your posts and edit them (the option is down on the bottom right of each post) and delete the contents. Though you can't delete anyone who quoted one of your posts.

Perhaps if you offer them a free tickle session they will help 😉

Kinda weird that we can't delete our own posts. Why is that exactly?

Thinking back on that...I agree with you there. You can be able to delete the thread you created...but not the post/reply from the thread they make.

For the record, nothing is truly "deleted" from the forum, so it's best to be cautious before posting important information. The only real way to delete info in your posts is to edit them out.

I believe you can delete your own posts, although not if you started a thread, as that would delete the thread. We restrict deletion for a number of reasons. One is to prevent someone who says something nasty from deleting it and trying to claim that it never happened. We also don't want discussions wrecked because someone can delete a post that other posts referred back to. It allows one disgruntled member to eviscerate long conversations by removing their voice.

A third reason is because it doesn't do a lot of good. Once something is posted, search engine crawlers find and archive it. You deleting the original doesn't remove the post from the internet, only from the TT. A quick Google search will still find it, and always will.

Absolutely.

This is good to know. Hmm It's strange I didn't notice it before *checks* Oh, silly me. I had safe-search on. Okay, I shall be more careful of what I say. Lest the world discover that I am a kinky tickle-loving pervert :lol

See the big red X button in the top right of your browser? Click it.

He might want his account deleted so that if anyone googles his username it doesn't show up here. This is why I don't use my normal username for any sites like this

Tickle Theater is like the song 'Hotel California'. The very last line of the song is - "You can check out any time you like . . . but you can NEVER leave".

This is precisely why I use "idiot756" instead of my usual username(s)... That said, you know what I imagined when I read the title of this topic?

A scene from a horror movie. I thought the topic creator was terrified that this website was going to catch and murder him.

Quite true, and we are happy to change usernames in such a situation. It would not be the first time. Changing the username comes with the caveat, of course, that the search engine index of pages with the old name remains, potentially forever.
