I was a TMF Expert, but then they took it away

I'm not ther yet. I think some threads were deleted and my posts were in them which knocked me back to 298. Now 299
 
I fail to see...

...What the big deal is with all these arbitrary titles corresponding to how many posts one has made. Novice. Expert. Master. Various colored feathers. Feh. Just comment on the things that tickle your fancy, be they articles, pictures, stories, whatever. Who cares what "level" you've gotten to by posting a hundred million times? Anybody can get those titles, it's not as though you've gotta work at it. Where's the appeal? Humbug.:idunno:
 
Dan is right. All of these titles and accolades should be stricken from the record. Except of course for my 2002 Golden Feather award for Best Model Tickler.
In all seriousness, the rankings are cool, except for the fact that there are some members who have achieved high ranks who seldom if ever post anything tickling related. Some people are even downright confrontational the bulk of the time, leading posts further and further away from tickling content. I remember back when the TMF first began that 95% of the posts were tickling related and I guess the titles carried more weight back then.
 
Still, they're a little added fun, and aren't really hurting anything.

Sometimes you can get bumped back down a few posts when you happen to have posted in a thread that got removed. It occurs from time to time.

OK this post was meant to be on the lighter side. I don't take these things too seriously, BUT NOBODY BETTER TAKE MY TITLE OF EXPERT AWAY FROM ME AGAIN OR THERE IS GOING TO BE TROUBLE. Ahh I feel good to get that out of my chest. By the way thanks Myriads for giving me my four posts back. And Yes, I think I would have to assinate about 50 people or so before I could be the top poster, but I'm not condoning any such action (wink) (wink) No really I'm not. (wink) (wink)
