Hey there! XD
Saw this fun game on "Mock The Week" (a british TV game show/Comedy) and I thought "Yeah, this would be a fun game to play"! XD
It's a game called "If this is the answer, what is the question?"
This is how it works:
1) I will give a statement in the form of an answer (eg. The Southwest of Wales, 24% etc.)
2) You all come up with questions that link to the answer. (The questions don't have to make the answer correct (ie. how much of 100 is 24? 24%), in fact, it's encouraged that they're not. adds to the funniness of the game).
3) After Several Questions have been posted and we've had a giggle over the sorts of questions given, I'll post another answer or someone else can.
and thus, the cycle continues.
Here's an example one:
ANSWER: 24%
The Question I suggest: Out of a survey of one person, how much of him thought the McDonalds food was edible?
Someone else's suggested question: How many Americans can pinpoint Iraq on a map...of Iraq? (Sorry if that on was slightly offensive, it was one that was given on the show. 😛)
And actually, that raises a good point. I know everyone here (or almost everyone) has common sense and they know the typical rules in these sorts of things (No abusive behaviour, No foul language etc.) but can I just enphasise the abusive rule.
Gentle insults like the one above can be shaken off, no one will take extreme offense to that. But there is a line people. Try not to cross it please! 😛
I know in this sort of game it's easy to go too far and I want to try and make this a pleasant game for all! So be careful of what you write. XP
But all in all, have fun!
Well, since I've used it a lot in this thread, I think I might aswell use it as the first answer.
The first answer is:
24%
