If you could change one thing about yourself what would you change?

With me it would be my ability to stay at a decent weight. I have battled weight problems all my life, my dream figure is the one in my Wonder Woman picture below, not too slim but not heavy. Well I just lost 12 pounds, another 30 and I might just get into that Wonder Woman costume!

Hmmmmmmm......for me, I would like to have the willpower to get myself to exercise more. I'm not fat, far from it actually, but I need to start exercising more.

Unrealistic answer: I would like to be immortal, and I may as well throw in eternal youth, as long as I'm wishing.😀

If I could change one thing within the realm of normal human possibility, I would like to be more ticklish, of course.

I like the me I am today. but if I could throw in a time machine... I’d give the 19 yr old me the courage the 34 yr old me has today.

not be ticklish

if i could change 1 thing about me i would wanna be not ticklish.

Mine would be to have better health. That would take care of the other things I'd like to change. Aside from that, I'm happy with who I am.

Interesting that we have exactly opposite desires for change. I wish you could transfer all of your ticklishness to me, and then we would both be happier. 😀

good topic, jpie...

i do have the same problem with weight. if i could lose weight and keep it off, i'd probably look better than brad pitt. lol🙄

I'd have to say self-confidence, since if that was healthy, I think the weight and other things would fall into line.

Smiley

I guess the weight problem is something a lot of us have. I weighed in at smack-on 250 pounds yesterday. I was heavier than that when I was in regular training, but had a better figure because most of it was muscle. Without being in training someone my height should be about 200-210 I think.

But if I could change one thing about myself, it would be my low self-confidence. Change that to supremely high and all of life's problems, including weight, would drop like nine-pins.

Money money money

I would have started working and lived with my parents instead of leaving home and attending college at age 18. Working two jobs for up to two years, I would have spent little and saved the rest. Time is your greatest friend when it comes to saving money - I would have a growing nest egg today, 25 years later. By time I was 20 or 21, I would have sought any work I could get at a college that gives its employees free tuition. I would have earned a degree part-time and finally started a "career" by my late 20s. If I only I got that advice in high school . . .

Things to change... of course I would love to be ticklish (or if I actually am... more ticklish)

But, something that would make me pretty awesome would a good sense of motivation/work ethic/commitment. Why? Because I'm very nearly a genius... and I use that as an excuse to slack off. Just about every teacher I've had, notices that I do very well (especially in Maths areas) even though I've done almost no work. And every parent-teacher night I had through school, the comment I always got was "He's doing very well... though he could do heaps better if he studied once."

So I get the feeling if I had the motivation to work hard... even though I'm only 18... I might've graduated uni already... or perhaps be touring, playing the piano.

But no. I'm slack

No kidding Pianist? Do you think there's a connection between height and IQ then?😀 I guess all us tall guys should be pleased.😛

🙂 For me, it would have to be more self confidence and outgoing nature. I believe the greater being or power who or what that created us all gave us things we could choose to change and things that are essential to who we are and that don't need changing. Weight issues and problems, psychiatric illnesses, self esteem and motivation issues fit into the former category, I believe. Personally, I would love to have my fine motor skills up to par with everyone else along with coordination and balance. Unfortunately, these issues fit into the latter category. 😀

BigJim, you might be right... cause most of my friends that were tall were also very smart.... then again, theres that one guy that flunked VCE... so I don't think theres a connection.

Btw rajee... Motor Skills don't come freely... its taken me 13 -14 years to get a skilled as I am on the piano.... and I was totally unco at anything physical before I did gymnastics (until about yr7).... and because of the piano and the gymnastics... the drumming came along quite nicely....

But despite the fantastic co-ordination, un-parralleld musicality and sense of balance..... I can't dance for sod.

And until I started doing some Swing dancing lessons, this was nice comment I recieved... "For a drummer... you have no rhythm"

No real weight problem here, but along similar lines, I'd change when I started learning about bodybuilding nutrition, dieting, weight training, cardio, etc, to when I was a freshman in highschool, and not a freshman in college. 🙁 I'm a junior student now.

If you know me in real life, I am possibly the most quietest person around. I'm dreadfully shy, and I don't have the guts to really ask a girl out, perhaps even tickle them. Even trying to talk to them is a painful case of trial and error. What I need is more confidence and mojo. Also, I'm really lazy and never live up to the vast potential I know I have, so maybe I need more motivation and drive.

No changes!

I work with the cards I'm given. Do your best, be flexible, learn more and love yourself. Thats how I make it day to day.

I wish I was a little bit taller.
I wish I was a baller!

If I could turn back time I would have never stopped playing basketball. I really miss it.

well I am trying to change the one thing I would like to change, after a few weeks I have lost 15 pounds, now another 30 and I will be a very happy camper!

Ditto here on the weight issue. I'd really love to get back down to the size I was in high school. Not skinny, but smaller than I am now. Funny thing is I don't weigh much more now, but I have none the less expanded. Guess I need to work on toning back up again. Good thing I have a steady tickle partner now...talk about excersize! Whoooo-wheeee!!

Of course, if Lazzy sees this post, he's gonna kick my butt good! Hehe!
