Oh well, I assume you mean which decade would we choose to live in if we could, even temporarily. I myself would choose the early to mid 1970's because it was the golden age of funk, free jazz and electronic music. Rock and roll got a shot in the arm called "punk". It was a much more creative time in general. You could buy a house for the current price of an "economy" car. Everyone from hippies to Republicans "inhaled", or asked the magical question, "Your place or mine?" (things were a bit looser back then because there was no AIDS).

mid - late 70s popular (and beyond) music, culture, tv shows, style, etc for me..im a 70s kinda guy..my attitude, ways of thinking and all. i dont belong in the crappy 2000's...or even the crappy 90s..the 80s i can live again and wouldnt mind...but give me 1978 if i had a choice!

Eh, probably recently, like 1995-2000. That way I could set things up for me to be rich and successful without altering things much. Plus let's just be honest here, anything else would be purely for nostalgia, as it really sucked in comparison.

Definitely the 40's. always wanted to join The 101st Airborne in their prime and take on the 3rd Reich. then after the war, 45-50 business is booming in technology and life is good.

Man, you've said it all, the music, culture, everything ! I didn't appreciate as much when I was living in the seventies, but now, lets face it , there was no better time to be alive. I get all giddy inside just thinking about it.

indeed! it was a time when men were men and women were women, every genre of music was fucking top notch, most television was top notch, most movies were top notch, pop culture was a good thing, people were more friendly, crappy sounding mp3s didnt exsist and people actualy went and bought their music in quality...i could go on and on.
