If you could visit anytime in your past, would you?

Like in "A Christmas Carol" Scrooge was taken to Christmas's past..would you like to be taken to a time in your past for a day's glimpse and if so, when?

I used to think that i wanted to go back in my holiday past as a child..to see the little me all excited on that morning..to see my sister as a child again also..my mom and dad..but now i do not..i'm afraid i would find it far too sad..

I think you may be right but the upside would be that you could confirm your love for them.

But if you can't make contact it would be too sad for me i'am afraid.

There was a book i think called replay or recall where a guy dies at fifty comes back as a twenty year old in his original time same friends leads a different life, three times till he gets it right.

the hollywood brother might visit the eighties. the reason is the music was rocking and the hollywood brother loved the amusements that the jersey shore had back then. the difference is back then the hollywood brother loved them but assumed they always would be there and now there not. this time if the hollywood brother could go back in time then he could ride the rides and attractions again but appreciate it so much more

I'd prefer to be able to review my life so I can write about it. I keep very detailed records of my life NOW and have tried to write a retrospective record so yeah my one regret was not keeping better records. If I could just observe I'd use it to fill in the gaps. If I could actually travel back I would use my future knowledge to change things both personally and globally and of curse keep better records 😉.

FWIW, I'd find the keeping of records rather onerous! OTOH, I do wish that I'd shot more pictures of people in my life. And made more sound recordings of them too.

If I could travel back in time, I'd go to more concerts, make more friends, male and female, spend more time partying and drinking with them, spend less time in darkrooms, sound studios and computer centers, and flirt with more women. I'd be a relationship coach to my old self.

I would go back to the moment of conception, so I could see who my biological mother and father were. Alternately, any point during my fetal development could work, but I've no idea of any other exact times when they had to be together.
