If You Got To Create A Tickling Horror Movie! What Would You Want To See In It?

If budget, time, money, cast, nothing wasn't an issue, what would you make?

Who would you cast? What scenes would you have?

I'd cast Sydney Sweeney as a college student who's ex BF destroyed a stuff animal from her childhood. That stuffed animal was holding the spirit of an 'imaginary' tickle monster from her childhood. And now with it unleased, it wrecks havoc on those who wronged her friend through the most ticklish means!

I may update this idea later when I have time with further ideas.

I would go for a Saw-like plot for a tickling horror movie.

There are all sorts of scenarios here. In the early oughts we had some good backwoods/redneck horror movies with screen meltingly hot 'final girls' like Eliza Dushku in Wrong Turn and (my personal fave) Jessica Biel in the TCM remake. Those scenarios are ripe for tickle themed torment. Cackling inbreds running their rough fingers and tongues over the smooth, sensitive flesh of damsels in distress in their belly baring tank tops and hiphugger jeans.

Another one would be the abandoned and rundown carnival ground/amusement park which is a draw for urban explorers but a motley group or creepy clowns lurk, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting explorers who aren't being particularly careful.

Or you could have the more pro-active stalker who seeks to abduct and exploit ticklish to drive them insane. Perhaps all stemming from some perceived childhood sleight. The nerdy kid who was humiliated and laughed at by the mean girls at school which made his life hell. Now 10 years later he decides he will really make them laugh...

It's Halloween month so there's a few ideas to be going on with. I haven't even thought about any occult, supernatural twists yet.

I would want there to be backstory for each victim, explaining how ticklish they are, how much it has impacted their life, and why tickling is such a vulnerability to them. Then the payoff would be to see each of them tortured with tickling in a way that was personal and meaningful to each one.

To be honest, my version of that concept would be full body tickling, not just feet tickling (because just that would be just as boring as the original Saw), and my ideal casting would be the actress who played Esther from Orphan, Jenna Ortega, Timothee Chalamet, to name a few, and the tickler version of Billy the Puppet would be played by either Michael Keaton or Keanu Reeves.

But maybe that's just me being the boring one because I'm not just into feet tickling.
