I'm a quarter of a century old now.....(The Birthday Thread)

Last week was my birthday....turned 25. My girlfriend, god bless her pessimistic heart refers to it as being "a quarter of a century old".......ya know there are only certain birthdays that have any real meaning. Turning 10 is a big deal because you're in double digits, at 13 you are officially a teen, at 18 a young adult with certain newfound privilidges, 21 comes with even more privilidges.....

After that people tend to dread each coming birthday. 30 means its a little late for a lot of the frivolity and care free days of your youth. You may argue that we have more means to do what we wish by that age but the amount of responsibility that counteracts it is the problem.....40 is downright depressing and so on......UNTIL YOU DIE.....LOL.....

Don't mind me....been in a wierd mood today and felt like sharing.......

Hey, I finally got a car though! 89' black Jeep Cherokee...I feel like I'm driving a semi truck....LOL.....but for $500 it was a sweet deal.....

I was very excited to turn 30. It was great.

I had a psychic tell me that life for me would begin at 40. I'm 36 now, and waiting to see what will happen.

A quarter of a century? Congrats, Cheshire - but somehow, to me, that sounds way older than saying 25 years. Must be a matter of personal taste. 🙂

I prefer to make myself feel younger by stating my age in seconds (as no-one can easily work out off the top of their head how old I am then 😀), which puts me at 717.6Ms. 😛
