I'm engaged! :D

After a little over a decade of being together, my fiance and myself have finally saved up enough money to get married! I'm official engaged to the love of my life! I'm so happy, sniff, it took me so long to get to a good place with my mental health and to get back on my feet after living with family and at a shelter for almost 2 years. Now I have a job, a home, a car, and am happily engaged to a wonderful woman whom I'm happy to spend the rest of my life with! There was a point in my life I almost ended it but my family saved me from literally jumping off a bridge and now years later I'm the happiest I've ever been!

I know I haven't always been the best when expressing my political views so I'd like to say if I ruffled some feathers I apologize. I also wanna thank everyone here for being the totally awesome people you are! I'M GETTING MARRIES YO! WEEEEEE! 😉 😀

First off, as someone who tied the knot exactly 2 years ago: CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am super happy for you

Second, I wasn't aware you had mental problems, and I am sorry to hear it. You always sounded like a balanced, albeit very passionate kind of guy, at least to me.

Well, since we've lived together for more than a few years, according the NY state common law, we're pretty much considered married when it comes to filing our taxes and such. Heh. 😉

Only if I can land at Beijing airport while wearing a shirt that says "Free Tibet / Free the Uyghur" without getting thrown in Chinese jail. 😛
