the movies blow. the game's where it's at. i love AvP 2 the game. just with the 3rd installment was better.


btw, what's the name of this mod? i might want to re-install AvP2 and play it.

Agreed, AVP2 was the first shooter i got, along with being a big fan of the franchises since childhood, i saddens me to see the lack of quality in the more recent films.

I still think the story of the AVP Arcade game was the best of the franchise, and I would have loved to have seen it in a film.

FPS's are not terrible imo~ they just have become unimaginative. When I played FPS's, games like Quake and Unreal were at the top, and at the time, fully featured single player experiences. Strategic FPS's like Rainbow Six were amazing too when you had to plan out an actual engagement with hostages at risk before you even went into the map. While now, they're just repetitive online mashups, where nothing matters, nobody is remembered and death is meaningless.
