Hi--I came across this old thread, and wondered if you still have the images he's talking about. If so, could you post them? Thanks!
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ORIGINS OF THESE PAINTINGS?
Once upon a time, long before there was an ASFT and ABMET, back in the
Seventies, those of us into tickling used to trade whatever limited
tickling erotica that existed, via snail mail. At that time, amidst
many tickling cartoons someone sent me a photocopy of three snapshots.
The photos were of three oil paintings each depicting a scene of
tickle torture. Incredibly detailed, they were obviously painted by a
skilled artist. One of them has the date of 1963. The others are
undated.
I have been trying for years to trace their origins. They were either
painted by someone into the scene or commissioned by a wealthy patron
with a tickling fetish. I have heard several rumors regarding them.
One rumor says they are part of a special erotica collection that
resides in a non-public part of the Louvre. Another rumor is that they
belonged to Andy Warhol's private erotica collection (which was
auctioned off after his death).
I have scanned the three images and they follow in the next three
posts. Because my photocopy is very old and has started to flake and
peel, I apologize for the quality. I re-touched them the best I could
in PhotoShop. What follows is a description of each of the paintings.
1) Oriental Stocks (M/F) [OrStx.jpg]: This shows a lovely Oriental
woman locked in stocks with an old Chinese man patiently tickling her
feet with a feather. This is the one that is dated '63 and has the
initials of the artist.
2) Tickle Dungeon 1 (F/M) [TD1.jpg] This painting shows a male
stretched on a rack in what looks like a medieval dungeon. A woman is
at his feet tickling him with a feather while another stands by
watching with a whip in her hands.
3) Tickle Dungeon 2 (FF/M) [TD2.jpg] This one is the hardest to make
out because the toner started to flake off the photo copy. Once again,
there is a guy tied to a massive slanted wooden platform. His feet are
lashed to a metallic T-shaped bar. There are three women in this
scene... they look dressed like French courtesans. One woman is seated
in a chair and is non-chalantly tickling his sole with a feather or
artist's brush, while another woman in the foreground is laughing
gleefully at the scene. If you look closely, you can barely make out
the third woman, kneeling between his outstretched legs and is deeply
sucking something (!) <eg> while he laughs uproariously from the
foot-tickling.
Does anyone out there have any knowledge as to the true origins of
these paintings? Who painted them and where are the originals today?
Does anyone have any better copies of the photos? Please share with
the newsgroup or e-mail me.
