images and how they pop up to view

i know you guys have done some serious looking around to figure out how to make this old forum more attractive and user friendly. no one appreciates that more than i. however, the last few days i have noticed that when i go to click on the images that are attached to a thread, there have been a few times that the pointer isn't anywhere near the row of images before one pops up in the new box. any other time, the box never shows up and the image opens like it always has.

i have also noticed, for some of the larger images that pop up in the box, that the NEST banner sometimes cuts into the image.

is this another cookie issue for me?

thanks, luv. guess i missed the post.

it IS a bit of an annoyance for it to pop up when you mouse over it, but it seems to only work for a few pics.

The lightbox should be on all image attachments. Right now it appears when you hover your mouse over the image thumbnail for roughly two seconds or more. Simply clicking on the image cancels the lightbox. Closing it is simple: click anywhere in the black surrounding the image or use the X in the upper right.

The lightbox does use javascript (NOT Java) so if you have that disabled it may not work. On older machines or machines burdened with lots of running programs this extra calculation may turn the effect from smooth to stuttering or partially nonfunctional. All newer browsers should run it just fine.
