imagine this happening on your first parachute jump

The instructor had pulled the safety cord, then had a fatal heart attack mid-air.. the pupil, his first time jumping, didn't realize the instructor was dead until they hit the ground and he noticed the instructor's head slumped..wow..

ya i read the artickle 2 , amazingzly th first time jumper did know what to do , i would panick if an instructor died in the middle of something scary , like flying a plane or space shuttle or whatever.

At least the instructor got to pull the ripcord before checking out. Imagine the poor student watching his instructor plummeting earthward and not knowing what had happened. He could have had a heart attack!
