Not that I follow the NFL at all, but both New York teams suck this year and neither one will be in the play-offs. (I can't help noticing that just watching local news.)

The Saints indeed suck, yet they actually might still make the playoffs. Quite a weak division in the NFC South

Looking like it might be a New England vs Seattle superbowl. Those seem to be the two most solid teams right now.

I still think the NFL should take a page from the NHL and reseed the teams for the playoffs. Winning a weak division should not be a "reward" for a home playoff game IMHO.

I agree. take top six teams in each conference regardless of divisions. a team with seven wins should not be in the playoffs. its ridiculous.

While I do get the frustration of a Team that have 7 Wins going to the playoffs over a team that has 9+ Wins, I don't see the NFL ever changing the rules. Plus I believe, "If you win your Division, you should get in"

My Seattle Seahawks generated so much controversy winning the NFC West or as it was called, "THE NFC WORST" Division on 2010 with only 7 Wins. But that Playoff Game was something else. Glad I was there to see it.

Many people don't talk about this, but in 2008 The Patriots without Tom Brady won 11 Games, and did not go to the Playoffs.

I think the Patriots will represent the AFC. Tom Brady has been on fire down the stretch. And outside of Gronkowski, the guys on offense around him aren't big Name Superstars, but they get the job done. Also Peyton Manning has been struggling as of late. And outside of Denver, I don't see any AFC Team going into New England and winning.

For the NFC, I was gonna go with whoever got Homefield Advantage. And just a few moments ago, the Seattle Seahawks got that. If Greenbay got it, I would have picked them. Because I honestly wouldn't see any team going into Greenbay and winning.

As for the Superbowl, I'm a realistic Fan. And if it is New England vs Seattle, I would bet money on New England.

But ANYTHING can happen. Who knows? My Predictions could be dead wrong.

I think it'll be New England & Seattle in Superbowl 49. New England Wins.

I would love to see a Rematch of the Season Opener though. That would make an excellent NFC Title Game. Would Aaron Rodgers avoid Sherman again?

And I don't see anyone, even Peyton Manning, going into New England and winning.

And then there's Black Monday.

If it wasn't obvious before today, the way Harbaugh was shaking hands and hugging players/staff on the sideline as the clock was running down should be a sign that he's not coming back to the 49ers. I have a feeling he told the team before the game.

As I was typing this, it was Officially Announced: He's not coming back

Rex Ryan said himself he expects to be let go. COME TO WASHINGTON AS OUR DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR REX

Today's Jets game today was so Jet Like. They have nothing to play for besides draft position, they know Rex is on his way out, and other big changes are coming. And their Offense lights it up, and Geno Smith puts up a Perfect Passer Rating.

I've also heard Rumors about Atlanta & New York(GIANTS) strongly considering making a change.

Its looking more and more like New England vs Seattle like I said earlier. I think though if there is any team that can beat the Patriots its the Seahawks. You need a strong physical defense and a good running game to beat the Pats. Seattle has that. We shall see though.

Defiantly agree that Seattle vs New England is the most likely outcome. But anything can happen.

I honestly don't see Greenbay going into Seattle and winning. Yes the beat Dallas, but they got off to a real slow start. Do that vs Seattle, in Seattle, and you may not have much of a chance. (And the way this game ended must make Lions Fans feel some relief)

Andrew Luck & the Colts have really struggled vs the Patriots in their last 3 Meetings. Giving up 40 Points in each of them. And I don't see them going into New England and pulling an Upset. Though if Joe Flacco can torch them, Luck can do it do. But I don't think Luck can do it alone. Flacco had a Running game to balance it out, and the Colts don't have a great running game.

Yea I agree. :iagree:

I dont think there really is anyone in the NFC that can go into Seattle and win at this point. Green Bay could possibly but Rodgers is still hurt. That makes a hard job almost impossible.

The Colts really dont have the firepower to play with New England. Its a very short list of those that do.

The New England vs Seattle game though should be pretty darn good if thats the way things turn out.

I had picked New England to win if they played Seattle, but now I'm not so sure.

I think they'll beat the Colts and get to the Superbowl, but winning the Superbowl will come down to how their defense plays.

I mean Baltimore shredded that Defense throughout their game on Saturday. And Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch are more than capable of doing the same kind of damage, if not more. If those 2 guys get off to a hot start, I don't think New England will win.

Because if New England falls behind, going against Seattle's Defense, I don't think they'll be able to overcome that.

Its definitely a tough call. I can see New England winning. They are a great team. Belichick is very good at creating game plans to take out your best players. Its just Seattle is just so solid. They are much better then the Ravens I think. New England needs to get out of the gates fast to win. Or if Seattle makes a some critical errors.

Otherwise if both play at their best I think I give the edge to Seattle.
