I don't know him outside of TMF. His profile says he's a 70-year-old male from Northern California. But for a long time he's taken us on a journey of humour with his regular postings of "Friday night nyuks", consistently delighting us with a steady stream of weekly one-liners. Like many others here, I didn't really notice his comment at the end of his last collection on the 6th of this month, "And that's all from me for awhile." At least, not until the 13th when the next set wasn't there. No problem; on rare occasions, life happens and he's been a day late. But, no. Nothing on the 14th. Nothing the following Friday, the 20th. Then I went back and saw that portentious little line. Has the well finally run dry? Have life's problems come to interfere with Low_Roads' passion for brightening the lives of the rest of us? I don't know.
