Initiation (F/F Foot Worship)

I was going to save this as a Halloween Day update, but it's just as well uploading it now.

This truely is one of those "first time" pictures all around. Its my first time ever drawing a vampire, its my first time drawing something this dark, and the first time I've shared one of my characters from from a manga I'm actually working on.

Since this is the first time I've fleshed out the character and actually drew her, her appearance may change slighty in the future and as I get and closer to her looking exactly like I want her to, she'll look much more refined.

Anyways, this is Countess Lucetanya (loose-eh-tonya), having just taken another maiden into the ranks of her minions, as the new vampire pays her some foot worship.

Any relation to the Lusitania? lol, I had to. 😛 As I previously said, not my cup of tea as to the situation, but very well drawn. Quality stuff!

Where else did you say something? Ah, I haven't checked the ATF yet. Damn I have so many places to check. And its not just the ones in this community, but the anime community in general. Fortunately I've been getting a strong response out of this one, and thats good going into it all.

Her name, see, I was just sounding out what seemed like good names. The Lusitania, sister ship to the Titanic, did come to mind. I wanted her to have an ending to her name that was either "ia" "nia" etc., something that was similar in pronounciation to words like Transylvania, etc. to establish her possible roots.

The first part of her name, I actually got from Lucifer, but ended it with a feminine tense, almost a "Lucy", and I added the "tanya" (which is coincidentally a female name) as the second part of her name.

And so we have Lucetanya. I think its a pretty good name. I still have to settle on what to name the other characters though, including my last name which still is up in the air but I've narrowed it down. Yes, I will be appearing in my manga as a character. ^^

Ah yes, I remember hearing you mention that some time ago. How goes the designing and creating so far?

Some time ago? About what?

Right now, I'm concentrating more on the story and plot line and thinking about how it might arc if I end up doing a second "season" so to speak, if I even make it that far.

Naturally the characters will fit into what I'm concentrating on. Its at that point that I need to flesh them out and name them.

To answer your question however, its coming along nicely. Alot better than I thought it would at this point. The ideas are just flowing. I thought I'd be in some sort of a jam at this point. ^^
