Initiation (F/F Foot Worship)

I was going to save this as a Halloween Day update, but it's just as well uploading it now.

This truely is one of those "first time" pictures all around. Its my first time ever drawing a vampire, its my first time drawing something this dark, and the first time I've shared one of my characters from from a manga I'm actually working on.

Since this is the first time I've fleshed out the character and actually drew her, her appearance may change slighty in the future and as I get and closer to her looking exactly like I want her to, she'll look much more refined.

Anyways, this is Countess Lucetanya (loose-eh-tonya), having just taken another maiden into the ranks of her minions, as the new vampire pays her some foot worship.

Now there's a good halloween art piece. Although I'm a little puzzled as to why the girl licking her foot has no eyes? :wooha:

Actually, the blank face, thats a style used to express different things. The faces are often shadowed, the hair covering them slightly, or something and the face is concealed.

The reason for this is to express things like sorrow, embarassement, shame, acceptance, etc. without the character necessarily having to say something. Its a quite common thing artists do in manga and anime. She does have a face, but its been shadowed out for this reason.

In the case of this picture, its blanked out because she's accepted the fate she's been given, she's been humbled, and now she's doing something she probably didn't think she'd be doing, and its all willingly (though under a vampire's charm), so theres a dash of embarassement and self-revial in what she finds herself doing.

The foot pampering is key in establishing whose the master and whose the servant, its more symbolic than fetish in this picture. Another way I established superiority was by having Lucetanya sit instead of standing like I original had her when I started the picture. Leader type characters or those who are in control are usually found sitting. This also gave me a chance to put some detail into her chair.

YEAH, BUT THE NO NOSE THING IS PROBABLY WORKING TO HER ADVANTAGE! I DID READ AND ENJOY V D'S WELL WRITTEN EXPLANATION. STILL COULDN'T RESIST. NICE DRAWING. THANKS.
