Because I want to learn how other people draw female chars.
Each artist infuses his/her/its own chars with a unique personality.
It's not only about technique.
It's about vision.
Your catwoman had a particular look about her eyes, and her smile just screamed wicked.

Drawing convincing women is more than just capturing the shapes.
It's about capturing their own particular charm.
So, when new artists join with their own vision and style, I try to get to know them, and see what I can learn from them and their art.

A flaw I'm currently working on is making my female chars much more feminine than they currently are.
I used to draw fantasy chars; my female warriors weren't quite the lookers: I envisioned them as grizzled battle-hardened veterans, not squeamish pinups wearing skimpy armour pieces.
Now I need to turn those vets back into soft, curvaceous, girls.

But photo reference, let alone real ppl, won't suffice.
I need to see how other artists *synthetise* those bodies down into shapes and lines.
I need to see how other artists see women, too.

I say this is another marvelous piece of Art, Kalamos. (Art with a capital "A", that is) It is a very professionally looking little comic. And it's fun to read too! 😀
As always, your characters are drawn very consistently, clearly marking out your drawing style. A drawing style I happen to like very much. And I do like the way you draw women too. I myself also try to make my own female characters look a bit tougher than the usual "pin-up" girls found in this genre of art. They're adventurers after all...
