No you pretty much nailed it.
Hosted another party and wound up hanging out with myself due to last minute cancellations and no-shows (with ONE exception, because I didn't want him to waste the drive). I was just a little upset that for all the personals up asking to meet people, the events are hardly ever attended.

Well, you could have mentioned that in the beginning, instead of opening up being all overly dramatic to a group of people who weren't involved in the thing to begin with. Would I show up? I just heard about this now. Blowing off steam here is kind of counter productive.
