International Womens' Day

Didn't even know 3/8 was Intl Womens' Day till 11-ish tonight (while listening to W's Day edition of "Echoes" radio program)

Like all humans I owe my very life to Women, so here's a little 12:30 AM self-esteem boost for ya:

Ladies, Goddesses, what can I possibly say that centuries of Art, Music, Sculpture, Poetry (and this website) etc haven't already said WAY better 1000 times before? (I'm a musician but I ain't no poet so I just tells it hows I sees it)

Forget all the misery and heartbreaks; You're the reason us straight-men keep going; you're our dreams, our hopes, our desires; you're the light at the center of our world! You're the life-givers, you're the ones who can bring joy; without women the world would be empty and pointless.

Wonder why you're ALWAYS called "The Better Half"? Cause that's how we men really see it! There might not be a God, but who needs gods when there are Females in the world?

Happy Womens' Day: and remember, EVERY day should be Woman's Day!!!!

Really, women are great, but they're just one side of the coin.

Being raised in a household of women, I have a very healthy respect for them, but you should remember the male side of this equation, too. Your statements really implied that it was only men that relied on the other gender, rather than both relying on each other. Without women, life wouldn't exist; this is true. However, the same can be said for men.

Really, I shouldn't be giving advice on how to get female attention, but setting them on a deity-like podium and degrading men certainly isn't the correct way to do it. x)

Alright. Alright. I kid. I kid. Men bashing aside, I think the holiday is mostly about the struggles women have had to endure to gain equality. Sadly that struggle is on going in some countries.

I know all about reality....this is just an outpouring from one side of me...
