Internet Explorer Freezing..

I've been having a very odd problem with my computer the last few days.

Internet Explorer seems okay when I access TMF, and other websites. However, if I try to access the WPVI website to watch Jim Gardner, or Youtube videos, both the PVI site, and the Youtube clips, seem to freeze, and I need to watch them on Google Chrome instead. Is this an indication of IE just not liking those sites.. or does it mean something is wrong with my computer? In the case of the WPVI newscast, the newscast loads, and then keeps freezing in the middle of the live newscast, where both the newscast, and Internet Explorer freeze up.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's the truth.
Never use Internet Explorer again and you won't have this problem.
Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Genuinely sorry for sounding like a dick with that first post, Mitch. I just couldn't resist.

But yeah. Chrome or Firefox, if nothing else. ANYTHING besides internet explorer.

It'll be like upgrading from a tricycle to... a mechanical velociraptor with a jetpack.

I use Firefox for viewing the TMF site.

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 preinstalled. Haven't had too many issues with IE, but like Google Chrome better anyway.
