Friend of mine lent me this book - Intimate Questions, 459 Ways to Bring You Closer.

I'm randomly flipping pages (ADHD) and posting a few. Feel free to answer some, all or skip all, some.

Here's the first round:

Question #383: If there were eight days in a week, what would you do with that extra day?

Question #396: What TV show are you embarrassed to admit you enjoy?

Question #401: Who is your mentor? Hero? Role model?

Question #91: If you could accomplish one crazy stunt that would land you in the Guinness Book of World Records, what would it be?

Question #96: What is your fondest memory from childhood?

Question #109: If you were being mugged, would you fight, run, or just give them your wallet?

Question #119: When do you feel quietly at peace?

Question #144: Assuming you won't find a partner who is 100 percent perfect, what specific characteristics must your partner possess, and which could you live without?

Question #169: What do you want to be remembered for?

Question #183: What are the five greatest achievements of humankind?

Question #227: What one bad habit would you like to change?

Question #228: What one good habit would you like to start?

Question #231: How would your best friend describe you?

Question #232: How would your worst enemy describe you?

Question #313: What are you afraid of? (Fear of failer? Rejection? Abadonment? Your own anger? Others' anger? Inadequacy?)

Question #321: What is the most romantic thing you've ever done?

Question #325: Who're more romantic, men or women? Why do you suppose this is?

Question #351: Would you rather be rich or sexy?

Question #364: You can commit one crime and get away with it completely. What would that crime be?

Question #...K, I'm gonna stop now. See what I mean about ADHD? I'll do more later.

If I get TOTALLY bored of doing this, someone else get the book and ask. The book's pretty cool and it's 0.1 cent on Amazon. :yayzorz:

Tagged "mind rape"? What have I wandered in to? 😀

Question #383: If there were eight days in a week, what would you do with that extra day?
Work more. Work is my life.

Question #396: What TV show are you embarrassed to admit you enjoy?
Hard to say. I used to watch a number of embarrassing shows. 😀 I just can't pick one.

Question #401: Who is your mentor? Hero? Role model?
I doubt I have one for any of those three. I try to take advice from any I can, although I tend to fail to make good use of it.

Question #91: If you could accomplish one crazy stunt that would land you in the Guinness Book of World Records, what would it be?
Jump from a spacecraft at the edge of the atmosphere and fall back to earth. The death would be instantaneous, but the ride down would be exhilarating.

Question #96: What is your fondest memory from childhood?
My doggie. When my father and I drove him to our house in Camden, NC, we'd let him off of the back of the truck and he'd take off through the yard (6 acres of it). Seeing him run and all the birds and squirrels scattering was always fun. Many other memories of him exist.

Question #109: If you were being mugged, would you fight, run, or just give them your wallet?
Fight enough to disable the mugger and either call 911 or run.. I have little regard for my own life and would not care about being shot or stabbed.

Question #119: When do you feel quietly at peace?
I rarely do. I suppose walking on the beach at night, looking at the stars. It used to be walking with my dog, when he was still alive.

Question #144: Assuming you won't find a partner who is 100 percent perfect, what specific characteristics must your partner possess, and which could you live without?
Finding someone who is at least relatively neat would be a plus. I'm a clean person and messiness makes me wacky. Kindness is a plus as well. I'd probably need a partner who had more of a dominant personality than myself. I doubt I could be the dominant in any relationship. 😀

Question #169: What do you want to be remembered for?
I want to be forgotten as soon as I die, if not sooner. Were I able to have one wish, it would be to do the greatest good for all and be remembered for none of it.

Question #183: What are the five greatest achievements of humankind?
Language and writing as one, for they have brought us literature and so much else. The Apollo space program, for it taught us that we can dream great dreams and achieve them. The internet and world wide web, for they have brought people together in ways that could never before have occurred. Air conditioning, simply because I like being cold. Agriculture, just because.

Honestly, this kind of list needs way more thought than I can put into it.

Question #227: What one bad habit would you like to change?
I need to stress and try to control less.

Question #228: What one good habit would you like to start?
Either exercising a little bit (cardio and aerobic, probably) or going to bed early.

Distant, no doubt, if anyone is my best friend.

Umm ... worthless mother @#^$er?

Question #313: What are you afraid of? (Fear of failer? Rejection? Abadonment? Your own anger? Others' anger? Inadequacy?)

Question #325: Who're more romantic, men or women? Why do you suppose this is?

Stealing a spacecraft and going on a cruise around the moon.

Question #96: What is your fondest memory from childhood?

Christmas time. Loved the smell of a huge live Christmas tree in the house, the lights, family being home.

Question #109: If you were being mugged, would you fight, run, or just give them your wallet?

Depends on the situation. I have a concealed carry permit and am trained, so the scene would dictate my response. If I were jumped and attacked, we'd be fighting because I'm not going to lay there while he decided what to do with me. If I were in a situation that was too risky, especially if someone were with me and could be harmed by making the wrong choice, I'd give it up. Every thing in it can be replaced.

Question #119: When do you feel quietly at peace?

Kicking back and watching a movie, or sharing time with certain people. There are a couple people that I can be on Skype with or in person with, and we can both be sharing space, but the comfort is in the silence and the fact that you are on a level with them where you don't have to be running your mouth non stop, but instead just sharing something funny or interesting every once and a while.

Question #144: Assuming you won't find a partner who is 100 percent perfect, what specific characteristics must your partner possess, and which could you live without?

I won't find someone 100% perfect, and neither will anyone reading this which is just fine. The things that are required though are, honesty, loving, has a genuine caring heart for people, trustworthy and a great sense of humor. Everything else the world throws at us, we'll handle.

Question #169: What do you want to be remembered for?

Caring about people, and being there when needed. If I went tomorrow and somebody could say "he knew how to put a smile on my face when I forgot how, or made me feel optimistic when I could only see negativity", I'd be more than satisfied with that.

Question #183: What are the five greatest achievements of humankind?
Written/spoken word, music and the arts, technology, medicine, science. We didn't do too bad, but Lord knows we're capable of more.

Question #227: What one bad habit would you like to change?

Laziness, but sometimes, not doing a damn thing is just fun.

Question #228: What one good habit would you like to start?

Working out consistently.

Question #231: How would your best friend describe you?
Caring, funny, dependable.

Question #232: How would your worst enemy describe you?

Question #313: What are you afraid of? (Fear of failer? Rejection? Abandonment? Your own anger? Others' anger? Inadequacy?)

Thought of losing family or friends...and Barbara Walters riding a dinosaur, dressed like a ninja. Weird huh? 😉

Question #325: Who're more romantic, men or women? Why do you suppose this is?

Everybody is different so there is no clear choice every single time. On the whole though, it's got to be women.

Question #351: Would you rather be rich or sexy?

Rich. Great looks can't help me help make friends/family's lives easier.

Question #364: You can commit one crime and get away with it completely. What would that crime be?

I want to be part of a heist, and I want my pet monkey to be driving the get away van! (that answer is strictly for Lyz 😉 )
