Inventing Tickle Torture Tools

Has anyone else besides myself found themselves with a Tickle Torture Research and Development Department? Ticklers obviously have been trying to make tickling more intense over the years. Eight years ago, tickling movies only seemed to use fingers and feathers. Now in 2002, you see tickling with electric toothbrushes, guitar picks, dogs and cats, etc.

I currently find myslef in the research stages of crafting a tickle torture implement. Hypothetically, I want to make something that could legitimately be used in an interrogation, per say. I am searching stores for the proper materials, and this tool could be excrutiating for ticklish feet! I can hardly wait to try this tool on the focus group members!

Anyone else developed a newer, crueler tickling implement? Something that came to you as divine inspiartion? The product of hours of thought? Impromptu improvisation? Accidental discovery? ("You got peanut butter on my chocolate!")

This isn't really an invention, more of a discovery...

I've always been very fond of those finger cots you can buy at any office supply store. They're like small rubber thimbles, with a hundred tiny rubber "knobs" on them. Murder on feet and armpits, nipples....etc.😎

I've done more in the way of finding things already out there that work well as tickle tools. But, I DO reclall (a while back) trying my damnedest to come up with a lotion concoction that would tickle. An old bf had used it on me when we were dating. It was devastating. I loved it! lol But, he never would tell me what was in it. The rat! 😛

BTW, Ken.....If you're out there reading this....I STILL WANT TO KNOW!!!

As much as I hate to admit this...several years ago I had an idea to invent a self-tickling kit. I bought some Playtex rubber gloves, some fake fingernails and some super glue. (You should have seen the look on the supermarket checkout girl's face. I probably should have bought some actual food.) When I got home I glued the nails to the fingers of the rubber gloves. Unfortunately, it must have been some cheap super glue because the nails fell off after a few seconds, so I never really got to test it out. But then I met my wife (no, she wasn't the grocery checkout girl) and I discovered that she glued fake fingernails to her real fingers and the rest is history...

Well, I haven't invented an actual tickling tool..but I'm trying to think up the next part of it. You see, my mom's b/f is a shrimper ( good for me and her since we like seafood. lol ) and if you've noticed, the nets that go on shrimp boats have very tiny knots all over. I accidentally ran my bare foot over a section of net...and it really tickled. Keep in mind though, this is one of those nets have have very VERY small holes in it...maybe just big enough to put your finger through..maybe.

If I could find a way to move those knots over someone's ticklish areas , it'd make one hell of a tickling tool. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be useful if you put it over some gloves you wear...but I'd rather do something even more cruel...like come up with a machine that'd move the net up and down the ticklish areas.

tickle inventions

i tried to make one once. i tried to take a personal hand held fan, remove the blades, and put feathers on in their place. i tried with 3 different fans (same model), and tried to attach the feathers in various positions. saddly the idea never worked. i think the fans aren't powerfull enough.

Tickling devices

Hello, I'm new to the board, but I just had to post on this one. One of the most inventive ticklers I've ever known used a ball point pen which had run out of ink on my feet. I wonder if it would be possible, but something along the lines of Freddy Kruger's gloves (Nightmare on Elm Street) would be absolutely diabolical for tickle torture.

Tickling Tool

This probably falls under the heading of impromptu improvisation for me, but it has worked very well in some cases: It consists of an assortment of 'tickling implements' and a 'holder'. To make the holder, place two popsicle sticks flat sides together and wrap them about half way up with electrical tape. Leave the other ends of the sticks exposed. Make the tickling implement(s) out of magazine covers, other stiff paper, or stiff plastic like you might find as 'bubble wrap' on things you buy. Cut them into a pattern or general shape of a hand and fingers, so the business end is somewhat sawtoothed or shaped like claws or long fingernails. After you cut out the shape you want, insert the 'wrist end' of the tickler in between the popsicle sticks. You can make several of these in a variety of shapes, sharpness, and material thickness. The holder allows you to use them like a paintbrush.

Then comes the fun part - the experiments. Try these on feet, underarms, inner thighs, backs of knees, stomachs, etc. Keep careful records of what stiffness and length of 'fingers' elicit the best reactions when your victim is tickled on various spots. And be sure to repeat your experiments. We can't have any sloppy research going on here. 😉 If popsicle sales start to climb, I guess we will know this is working really well.
