To meet and make friends in this forum?

Here is a recent blog I made...

I'm not sure if it's leftover cabin fever from winter or what... but good god... I'm not sure life can get any more boring.

I know what I need... I need a "let's-go-do-something-buddy."

I have a roommate but unfortunately he has a very narrow spectrum about what he likes to do and what he considers fun... or it is for the most part... at least to me. So hanging with my roommate is pretty dull.

I know that finding a buddy here on this forum would be an impossibility. I have made a few posts about meeting and making friends on here which was met with an... "if we ain't getting together to tickle then what's the point" attitude. And have been basically told... "this isn't the place for friends, it's a place for tickles, if you want friendship, go to another forum."

Sad really considering how many really neat people are on here and how many I'd love to get to know on a non-tickling basis.

Sure the amount of tickling I get has dropped off a lot this past year or so and a nice long session(s) would be very welcome and probably needed about this time, but it would be also be nice to have a conversation with someone while not tied down.

So... what's a gal to do?

I know of no forums for "people-looking-for-other-people-to-play-miniature-golf-with," nor ones for bowling, playing cards, fishing, playing frisbee...etc.

Another problem is finding someone my age to hang with that still likes to (or is still able to) do a lot of the things I still enjoy.
Sure these ol' muscles and bones have seen a bit of wear and tear and perhaps running after a frisbee thinking I could actually catch it would be fruitless, but that doesn't mean I can't or won't try.

Spending a day/afternoon/evening with someone I can joke with, laugh with and have fun with is looking more and more like an order too tall to fill even though it seems like it should be quite simple.

So... whaddaya think?

I know a little about a lot of things, I have a fairly good intelligence level (that my smartassyness might take away from), so I'm open for conversations about damned near everything. There are some subjects that I suck at, but not too many.

I don`t mind making friends...

And as odd as it seems,I RARELY,if EVER,get together with someone just for tickling.It JUST DOESN`T HAPPEN!!! It could be due to the fact that I`m a bit long in the tooth and a GUY!!! Or perhaps I`m just a bit scarier than most...

I really don`t mind meeting others from here,and I always seem to have a good time.It`s almost always in a vanilla setting though,so you wouldn`t have to be too weirded out...

I didn't think you " went on " too much or anything like that.

I can most DEFINITELY attest that
finding new friends is NEVER
easy anymore !

It's kinda' sad really, considering the age of
technology we live in where you can get ahold of people all
over the world in an instant. Yet, finding a TRUE friend is
damn near impossible !

Mostly is seems " LIFE " just gets in peoples way and
they have less and less time to enjoy even the little the
things. LIKE friends ! 😎

If you wouldn't be opposed, I'd be happy to be to chat
with you when you need to talk...

I am here primarily to make friends and talk about tickling (to a lesser extent) I have made some wonderful friends through this forum that I value deeply. It can be hard to connect with new people, just gotta get yourself out there and be recognized 🙂

I live out in the north, far far away from most people (I can only think of about two other Oregonians aside from myself here) but I love to speak to people via IM, phone and such.

I know we have talked a bit recently, but I am always open to talking about anything whatsoever. 🙂 Consider yourself one friend richer hehe
