is pornhub a safe site to visit?

Just got a new laptop and don't want to immediately destroy the speed by visiting sites riddled with viruses. In your experience, is pornhub a somewhat safe site to visit or can I expect it to mess up my computer? I really screwed my old computer up by visiting all kinds of porn sites to the point where it took forever to load pages and don't want a repeat of this.

I stopped visiting pornhub a long time ago. What I noticed was when I visited that site on my phone, my Snapchat would get a huge uptick in spam friend requests. Also frequently got this weird webpage that claimed you've won some sort of prize. I'd personally avoid it.

I'm not a thief and not everyone on Pornhub is a thief. I enjoy the amateur videos made by people that post and make money every time we view their material. I've ordered customs off of amateurs on there. Two of my favorites are Sanyany and Alinarose. They are two Russian girls that wear pantyhose in all their videos (that's kinda my thing) and jack off their significant others in various ways. I've ordered customs from both of them multiple times and all their free stuff may be free to me but they make money per views. Please don't cast aspersions when considering not all content on Pornhub is pirated.
