Hello brothers and sisters!
It's been a while. So long, in fact, that almost all of you reading this are saying "who the hell is he?" I was active on the ol' AMT scene (is it still alive?), and I met a good deal of you back in early 2000, at DVNC's all-too-inviting par-tays and Max's grand NEST 2000. (Man, now that was a party. We had a map of the country on the wall with thumbtacks showing where everyone was from. When those tacks came out, that thing must have looked like someone took a machine gun to it. There was even one special beauty who flew all the way from England!)
Anyway, I've been out of this here loop for quite a while, and I'd love to reconnect with my crew. Is anybody out there? (Just nod if you can hear me.)
You may remember that I posted a note a few months back relating my tickling success story. It ended with a beautiful and dreamy happily ever after. Well, unfortunately that ever after turned out to, in fact, be just a dream. Split infinitives and all. My girl and I broke up, and you can now disregard that long-winded, encouraging post. (As though you have it framed there above your desk, next to your Harry Potter wall calendar, below the singing fish.) That happened right before the WTC, and life is finally starting to get back to normal for me now.
I'm not making much magic with this posting, no true tickle tales in this string of paragraphs, but I've got some good ones. I'll share. Right now though, I just wanted to say hello. My name is Boomtown and I'm a tickler. A tickler majora. And I'm back, which is English for je suis retourne.
I hope my posting finds you all merry and bright.
