I cannot post on the quick post anymore. A sign pops up and asks if I want to leave the page or stay on the page, then I click on Leave Page and a notice pops up that my message was too short.

It just happened again, I had to retype this question. Is anybody looking in on this?

I don't see an issue on my side. You might have a virus.

If you type anything into the quick reply window and then try to leave that page, you may receive that message. I am not sure why you are receiving it if you are using the box as it is intended. Can you walk us through every step you take, no matter how small, to get to that error?

I typed up a reply and clicked onto the Quick Reply Box. Up popped the box that said Leave Page or Stay On Page, I clicked both of them to find another box that said my message was too short. I then had to retype this message and when I click onto the Submit Reply Box what I finally posted shows up.

carl, I haven't been able to type anything into the regular reply box, not the quick one, but the regular one, for a long time. I'm wondering if perhaps certain features just lock up on certain computers.

I have seen reports that the technology underlying the post edit box is not very solid and causes problems for some users. As Mitch says, it may be that certain computing environments (browser choice in particular) are not friendly. What browser do you use to visit the TMF? What version?

I've been having issues myself viewing things. At first I just thought it was just something I picked up somewhere but then I tested it. I did a complete check for malware and spyware on my pc. Cleaned everything I picked up out. Made sure with anoher run thru that it was clean. Then I started brousing in here and again my comp started lagging / freezing right away. I did an adware run and immediately it picked up 34 adwares! Cleaned them out and its back to fine!...fyi im on windows 8
