i stumble upon this by accident while looking for good rydia pictures on deviantart with very tiny success rate because all of them gave wrong hairdo season

this one is not that fantastic with her hair either

i am at a point of disappointment

if you neo final fantasy jerks aren't aware of who these characters are because the only final fantasies you have ever been exposed to are the overrated pieces of garbage known as 7 through 10 then i will brief you on the characters here where rydia is the greenhaired character and rosa is on the left with the blonde, and porom is in the middle and these characters all belong in final fantasy 4, better known as 2 stateside on the super nintendo, the game system considered "sucky graphics machine" by playstation standards despite the fact that it is a 16bit cartridge gaming console and know-nothings pretending to know everything calling it out as a sucky graphics machine should get their head examined by intense head exploding laserblasts

As Oriya said these girls are from Final Fantasy IV. Now, this is in some ways the 'purist' label, because a casual player of video games would know it as Final Fantasy II. It was, in either case, the first one released for Super Nintendo, and released as Final Fantasy II in America.

In this case, it's good that someone drew those pictures of the characters, because unfortunately Super Nintendo sprites were not exactly flattering in detail, but as he says Final Fantasy IV is an excellent game nonetheless and one of my personal favorites.

At any rate, let's use my overextended knowledge and excess of free time to present you with examples. The first picture is the in-game sprite of Porom (the girl in the middle, getting it in the picture). Porom is on the bottom, at the right side. Unfortunately (as the case may be) she has a twin brother Palom, whose sprite looks identical, almost, just... colored slightly differently. Ignore Cecil at the top.

The second picture is a little more crowded (ignore the fact again that I have way too much free time). The two females Rydia and Rosa are in this picture, and their location in the party (on the right side) corresponds to the order their names appear (on the bottom), meaning Rosa is the second from the top, and so on. This concludes my overlong and complex post of unnecessary exposition.
