This is probably one of the stupidest questions ever, but is is normal to scream while being tickled? none of my friends scream, they just laugh hysterically. When im being tickled i scream.....i dont feel its normal so i just wanted to know. Thanks!!

i think like 5 minutes, in the same spots. there were 3 spots that were being tickled in where im really ticklish

I agree with my compadres above. It's not unheard of to just be that ticklish, and it's only a problem if you don't like it. 🙂

You must be REALLY ticklish!! But yes, it is normal to scream and to cry from being tickled. Especially if you are pushed past your limits. I laugh hysterically and scream some myself. I haven't yet been made to cry but man do i want someone to push me that far 🙂

You know, most of your replies have been coming from Oman. Secondly, you've joined a tickling discussion board to get some answers. Lots of these questions have been asked before. You have an immense archive of discussions to comb through. Instead of posting right away, try combing through all that there already is to get a feel of what there is. Plus leave out this 'normal' angle, all is available and no one will be able to give you a rigid definition of what constitutes 'normal'. If you enjoy it and it makes you happy, go for it.

Sounds normal to me. Some giggle, some laughs, and some screams, and all occurs when being tickled.

It's part of reaction (though some would try to scream to prevent laughter--which often fails. Reasons could be like what you experience, TicklishBlonde or to try and alert others that he/she is in series trouble and wants out of it.)

My gf, when tickled aggressively and suddenly, will scream at first. It's adorable, hilarious, and effectively deters from public tickling. Makes quite an impression.

I've seen someone yip from being tickled before. I've heard of people snorting while being tickled. I've heard of coughing, purring, growling, singing within multiple octaves in a strikingly melodious contour...heck, I've even heard someone making goat noises while being legitimately tickled. Goat noises.

But it's all natural to them, so it's all good in general. As long as said person isn't like, choking...or blasting energy waves from the mouth after CHARGIN' AND THEN FIRIN' THE LAZER, then go with it. 😛

I am the snorting type myself but that is a rare occurrence because I am all to aware I do and do my best to prevent it from happening. I have not myself, or seen, anyone cry from tickling though. I mean I seen tears form from laughter but not outright bawling.

Everyone has a different audible reaction to being tickled. Some, a tad more unique than others...like goat noises.
