Hello everyone,
It's likely this was already discussed in the past, but if it was I missed it.
I was wondering if there's any info out there about tickling pregnant women. Mainly, if it's safe. Have many people done it before? Did they get medical advice to know if it can be harmful for the baby (or good, for that matter)? Is there any moment of the pregnancy that's especially risky? If I found myself in such a situation (tickling a pregnant woman, not being pregnant myself) certainly wouldn't want to take any risks, but at the same time I think it would be a shame to avoid tickling a playful, willing pregnant woman if medical advice or literarure said it's ok.
While I'm at it, I also wonder how people in general feel about tickling pregnant women, assuming it's indeed safe. I know many people think that a woman is especially beautiful when she's pregnant, and tickling could be quite fun. But like anything, I assume others don't think it would be a very fun situation, for whatever reason. Of course, early in the pregnancy it doesn't even show, so it's irrelevant. But how about later when that cute belly full of life starts showing (when does it start showing, anyway?) How about in later months when a woman is more obviously pregnant? Does it matter? Do people think that the pregnancy adds spice to the experience or that tickling a pregnant woman is simply inappropriate?
Personally, if I knew for sure it was safe for the child and mother (I assume it is, but I'd prefer to make sure first) I guess I wouldn't mind, at least up to a certain moment of the pregnancy. It might be fun. But I can't speak for other people.
