Isabeau we miss you come back!!

I have had on occasion to spoken to the lovely Isabeau online and mentioned to her on more than one occasion that my guess is that she is sorely missed here on the TMF. Im sure many of you here who post frequently feel the same way. I was thinking that if enough of us let her know here how much we miss her. Her wit and humor her comments that on the surface may not seem like much but if you look underneath them are really deep, are really missed here. Anyway why not lets start a campain to bring her back and if we are lucky she may bless us with her good graces again. Lets let her know in here how much we want her back !!! 😱

someone told me about this thread so i decided to come and let you know i had thought about coming back next month...however i heard today from a good friend of mine that members are being chased away by other members and that those members are bragging about doing so..i myself was not chased away..i chose to take the break for my own happiness etc...i've decided to go back to teaching private music..in fact i've gotten a few students lined up... i will not be a part of a forum that allows members to bully other members into leaving..this forum should have been open to all..i find it a shame that has happened...this isn't the forum i joined two years ago..i will say this..no one chased me away, i would never allow anyone to chase me away...if i thought anyone wanted me gone, that would make me stick around more than ever...but i've heard from reliable sources that others have indeed been bullied into leaving and i think it's a damn shame..and because this isn't the same forum i joined, i won't be returning...i'm happy now, and i won't allow unhappy people to bring me down...goodbye all and God bless...

Yes,Isabeau,it`s true.We do miss you and wish that you would come back.
You are a part of this community and forum,and I always looked at you as the unofficial Ambassador of Goodwill.You always made a point of greeting new people and making them feel welcome.Your observations and anecdotes never failed to make me smile,and you most always had something positive to say.You had no problem laughing at yourself,and you brightened this place up just by being here.

Sadly,there has been an undercurrent of mean-spiritedness here as of late.I wish that it wasn`t so.This really can be a great community-there are many warm,caring people here,and the talents of so many of these people are truly amazing! It does bother me when people are picked on here,and run off or made to feel unwelcome.I don`t think we need to be that way.Yes,we are going to have our share of differences,but there must be a civil method of dealing with these situations.Let`s not scare people out of here,but rather try to treat everyone with a small measure of respect.True,in any group there are going to be individuals that we don`t see eye-to-eye with,but rather than trade insults in an open forum or run them out of here,how about just avoiding people you don`t like.Or even giving them a second chance to be your friend?

I guess I haven't been going through this forum as intently as I thought! Who was bragging about chasing people off?

This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with all of the good bye threads around here lately, would it? I don't know. I didn't actually check why so many people are leaving. It's not that I don't care, mind you. I just figured that life was too busy for them to spend any more time here.

This definately sheds some new light on the situation.

I sincerely hope not, however. I have noticed some new members in the last few months that have been causing a stir every now and then, but I haven't seen them in a while. Hopefully, it's not an established member.

It's the internet. I'm a member of over 50 forums or more. If I was chased off each one by some random lunatic, I'd have left the net long ago.

...but the people I know are too precious to allow children to cause me to leave. Kids now, most of the time, doing this crap... or adults that have yet to realise they aren't kids anymore.

Your leaving will touch many, but to be honest, if you were spending that much time here to the point you're enjoying your free time, then I wish you the best. I spent more time online last year than I cared for (mmo gaming), and I don't plan on repeating that. It feels good to step away from the computer, so I can't blame you Isa.

I've always loved Isabeau and wish her the best. Though it grieves me to see her gone from here, I commend her for following through on her decision. Whether she stays away or comes back in the future, she'll always have my friendship and respect.

We have to adopt a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY regarding those members who are chasing away other members. These trolls must be stopped and ejected from this site.​

I agree with you man, but who is going to have the time and patience to do such a thing? Freaks like that will likely come back with a new name, and continue doing it, and then you kick them out again, and we have to do it all over again!
