Just started reading Guy Martin's autobiography, which mentions the TT in some detail, its a unique road race and in a class of its own.
Some of the problems stem from the wide ranging abilities of the riders, from the top men down to people at the bottom end.
Sadly there are a lot of fatalities which gives the sport a bad image in the non motorcycling community.
I have not been there yet but intend to go when i can.
