here's another bit of isobellian nonsense...
this silly looking creature wasn't always the tickle snake... in fact it isn't even a snake, but given its rather serpentine appearance that is what it has become known as in the villages surrounding the forest where it lives
as you can probably see, it is capable of producing, at will, hand-like appendages wherever it feels they would be necessary... these are normally used for climbing trees and picking fruit to eat
the creature is very jolly and friendly - its nature is rather like a huge puppy - and it loves to play with humans, women especially, it finds them delicate and pretty, and loves to cuddle them
one day while cuddling a very pretty girl it accidentally tickled her tummy, and recognising her smile and laughing as signs of pleasure tickled her some more - delighted with the resulting laughter it continued it tickling obviously not understanding the pleas for it to stop...
at one point, so enamoured with the helplessly laughing maiden, it began to lick her face out of pure love... this was a revelation as it discovered how delicious tears of laughter taste, and was immediately addicted
now every time it meets a girl it will gather her up in its loving coils and tickle her to delirium while licking her face as the tears of laughter roll down her cheeks
this is what has happened to isobel, the girls of a nearby village deliberately gave isobel wrong directions, knowing that they would take her right to the tickle snake's nest - in the initial tussle where she was gathered up byt he snake, her flimsy summer dress came of, leaving her in her little undies
cuddled tight into the snakes warm body she is barely able to wriggle, let alone escape the relentless tickling, and the snake has discovered that isobel's laughter tears are the most delicious of all... it may never let her go
