As you may remember, Isobel had begun to be welcomed into a remote tribe where, because all the indigenous flora and fauna had developed defences which, coincidentally, tickle humans like mad ( e.g. the plants which start as flowers with tickly pollen and sap then grow into huge queen pods which can engulf a woman and ticklegasm her into an altered state of heightened spiritual being), tickling has become part of everyday life and intrinsic to the rites of initiation in the tribe and also into the preistesshood.
We join Isobel here in the midst of her latest initiation rite - the tribal elders and spiritual leaders have become so impressed and besotted with Isobel. not only because of her hopeless ticklishness, but also because of her seemingly endless capacity to be tickled and still love every minute of it. Also her obvious arousal during the process. As a result Isobel has been set on an accelerated initiation path to become a Queen High Priestess with full communicant skills. This position is hardly ever filled and is reserved for only the most exquisitely ticklish of maidens. The path to full adeptess is long and arduous... and highly ticklish.
The candidate is placed in a cavern below a nest of Scarab beetles found only in this area - they are particular in that they will feed on dead skin cells, not dissimilar to the doctor fish found in Asia. As you can imagine the experience of having a number of these beetles gently nibbling the dead skin cells from your body is almost unbearably ticklish. Well, for the purpose of this initiation, imagine 15,000 of them all over you. That is the average number in one nest.
Once the granite door has been cantilevered into place, a release is knocked away and two carved plugs fall allowing the swarm to enter the chamber, engulfing the would be priestess in one of the most ticklish experiences of her life.
Now, Isobel, although highly ticklish and a little air-headed, is not stupid and noticed the two bungs in the ceiling (as they are made of sandstone, unlike the surrounding rock) and as she heard the release stone being knocked away she stood and held them, thinking she would trick her way through this trial.
Unfortunately the soft sand floor made her slip a little and several beetles made it through, and are now happily nibbling some of Isobel's ticklish spots.
Her woefully inadequate ceremonial garments provide scant protection, and are slipping off anyway as it is very hot in there and poor Isobel is laughing so very much.
She did try to get the scarabs off her by wiggling herself, but this only made them cling to her more tightly, and when agitated the beetles vibrate their carapace as a warning, this vibration goes down their legs and tickles Isobel even more than the nibbling so she is trying to stay still, but quite frequently she will have an involuntary ticklish flinch as a nibble catches her in a sweet spot, and they all vibrate and tickle her like mad.
One more thing, when these scarabs congregate in large numbers they become naturally agitated and all continuously vibrate... so you can imagine how it will be if the whole nest descend on Isobel.
Will she be able to hold out? Or will the swarm have its way with her?
