I find the performance amazingly relaxing to watch.

Is it art? Discuss!

It's a form of dance, so it is art. 😀
Obviously, I like this artform because of her bare feet. :feets:

I think it was interesting, but not art, because I don't think she was trying to convey anything. I would say it's closer to juggling than dance.

A combo of juggling and dance in my opinion....art or not it was definitely entertaining.....

Is anybody besides me remembering an old Ballantine Beer commercial?

♫ "Take a ring....and then another ring, and then another ring and then you've got three rings!" ♫

In my opinion, this qualifies as an art form. The ring, a circle, is one of most simplistic of shapes, and yet look how such complexities of motion are achieved. I agree it's very similar to juggling, but jugglers are more constrained, working directly against gravity. It's all the juggler can do to keep up. The rings stay "afloat" longer and thereby provide more opportunity for greater complexity and versatility.

Very cool and unique performance.

Stunning piece of work. Her relaxation and economy of motion are exquisite, and the music is a perfect complement to the piece.

I think is a very graceful art. If you consider dancing and manipulation of motion an art this totally falls into it. It's very well timed and she moves so smoothly. It's awesome to watch. That alone makes it an art to me.

What is "Art" is an extremely subjective term. I would say if you consider dancing, gymnastics, and juggling art, then yeah, this would probably qualify as art. Personally, I would say that this could be considered art, or an artistic performance, at any rate.

It was enjoyable. I consider it a mix of dance, gymnastics, and juggling.

This is great! Thank you for sharing.
I consider this art...and what I really like is it's a performance that's very compelling without being a spectacle that requires elaborate costumes, trampolines, trapeze things and other big props. It's beautiful in its simplicity.

Where do all those extra hoops keep coming from. Like an amazingly choreographed magic show. She can do my birthday party anytime. Not sure about art, but could certainly qualify as a sport.

I loved it, art is sometimes in the eyes of the beholder. Very focused, well choreographed, it flowed quite nicely. I rather liked it and I would call it an art.

Damn! She OWNS those rings! That was bad-ass!

As far as artistic merit, I consider it art, because though there is no message to be conveyed, the performance was thought/emotion-provoking (for me, anyway.). It made me ponder the amount of dedication and training it must have taken to turn that performance into the relaxing, fluid masterpiece that it was, and though I will never be able to make five giant rings to be my bitches in a jaw-dropping performance, it made me wonder if I will ever do something similarly awe-inspiring that will make others' jaws drop in bewilderment.

Lately, my long-term goal has been to become rich, through financial education and trying various investments. I want to do this not for love of money, but to build a foundation so that money is not a roadblock keeping me from pursuing other goals in life. This performance reminded me that I must not lose sight of my goals, and to understand that money is a means to an end, but not the end-all. I need to figure out what my creative potential is, and achieve it. First, I need a foundation to build upon.
