But especially a Brony whose a giirrlll...

The attention's all on GUYSSS...

Why can't no one REALIZEEE...

That there are pegasisters all around the WOOORRRLLLDDD...

...so, yeah, long story short, my whittle niece has completed her transformation of me into a full-fledged Brony...heaven HELP ME...

So...any other Bronies on this forum? Or am I the only one?

I'm one as well. Not on the level that I've written stories or done art or other things like that, but I do think the series is quite strong and I've just enjoyed it for what it is. But yeah, it is odd that not a lot is talked about girls who are fans at this stage.

I think the attention is all on the guys because the women who enjoy the show are closer to being normal.

I watched like, 7 episodes. An amount that I thought was at least fair before I started being all judgey.

I honestly couldn't get into the show. The same way I can't get into any Disney show meant for kids, or any of those crappy early-morning kid's programs.

I'd agree with Mash, I mean the show is pretty much geared towards young girls. I mean what little girl didn't want a pony?

That's why these "Bronies" have a lot of attention, not just because they're above age men liking a show that is outside of audience the show originally was meant for, but there's also the fact that unlike young girls, they tend to shove the show into your face.

Obviously not all do it but of the ones I've met they are a majority.

And, I don't think this applies to everyone obviously, but I'd wager more money than I have that the reason this show has gotten so much attention in the first place is bandwagon syndrome.

There will obviously be the people who watch the show for the sake of watching the show, and then there will be the fat majority who watch the show for the sake of having something to talk about with other people.

Prior to this show, there wasn't a big buzz in the adolescent male crowd about ponies and baby dragons and shit.

I was willing to give it a look after finding out that it was by the same creative minds behind the Powerpuff Girls, which was a surprisingly fantastic show. MLP:FiM was just too cutesy/babylike for me, though. Add in a thick mix of furry creepies to the fan base, and I'm all, "Check, please!".

See I didn't know that it had the same people behind the Powerpuff Girls. That definitely gave it tons of potential but the same adult humor that they sprinkled throughout that show seems to be sadly absent unless I haven't watched enough MLP

I watched the first season out of curiosity and I honestly thought it was pretty good. It wasn't enough to make me a fan per say, but I'd sit through it again for my niece or if one of my friends happens to be watching it.

On a side note, when I was at Gamestorm last year, there was a fan made miniature game that was a cross-over between My Little Pony and the Fallout universe. It had ponies with rocket launchers. It was pretty epic and really fun to play too.

Yeah, Brony porn creeps me out too. I'm generally okay with the whole furry culture, but Brony porn is where I draw the line. I'll have none of that, thank you.

Wikipedia said:
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated television series produced by Hasbro Studios and DHX Media/Vancouver (formerly Studio B). It was premiered on October 10, 2010 on The Hub, an American television channel partly owned by Hasbro. This incarnation was created by Lauren Faust, who was a fan of the property in her youth but eventually grew dissatisfied with its poor writing that she felt pandered to sexist stereotypes.[5] Thus Faust endeavored to design her own version of the property to address those concerns and created a series acclaimed for its sophisticated writing and nuanced characters. As a result of these qualities, Friendship Is Magic has not only proven a major success in its intended demographics,[6] but also unexpectedly gained significant followings in peripheral ones, such as teen and adult males. The show has also attracted media coverage for its fanbase, which has spawned numerous adult-themed parodies, mashups, and images, mostly outside its main target audience, especially seen on YouTube and DeviantArt.
I thought this might've been a spoof-ish show that would parody all the cheesy & kiddy animated programs that have been on television the past few decades. I guess not.

Bronies are worthless scum. I'm usually quite the pacifist, but I think that's one group of humans that need to be exterminated so that they don't contaminate our already-ailing gene pool.
