How 'bout them freakin' Jets, eh? Not to say I told ya so, but....😀

If they can keep up the heat, they can compete with anyone in the AFC right now. Oakland will be tough, but they've beaten them in the Black Hole twice recently, and I don't think the Jets are intimidated by location. I love this Pennington kid! Just goes to show that you don't need a cannon arm to run the West Coast offense. Actually, he reminds me a bit of when Peyton Manning came into the league and made an immediate impact with his abilities and leadership qualities. Not to mention that New York is arguably the least injured team in the playoffs right now, that counts for a lot this late in the year. I'm just amazed at the balance between offense, defense and special teams that the Jets have.

And a big Yee-Haw to Atlanta for breaking the Lambeau mystique. Any given Sunday, folks....any given Sunday. Is it just me, or did Green Bay look like they didn't even want to be there?

As I'm writing this, the Sunday games haven't been played yet, so there's no guarantee that the Jets are even going to Oakland. Who says Cleveland can't beat Pittsburgh? In this crazy year, anything can (and has) happened.

Lets go Jets and Lets go Giants!!! woohoo!!!

PS Dave, looking forward to meeting you at SBG

I'll be there with my "Martin" shirt on! 😀

Even casual fans (like me) in the NY area were impressed by the 41-0 blowout. 🙂

Repeat of 1969, anybody care to predict?

Hey, Mimi:

I think the only cure for all of us depressed Wisconsinites would be to have a gathering REAL soon...😉

I was rooting for the Packers, but congrats to the Jets, Falcons, and Steelers. The wild-card games have been exciting indeed! (Hoping for a 49ers win next.) 🙂

Already in the works, and posted in the Gatherings section, HBGB 😀 Any depressed Packer fans in need of joy and laughter, please turn your browsers to that area of the forum!

My pick now for the Superbowl: Eagles VS. Raiders

Mimi 😀

Yay falcons....i kept the faith and was not dissapointed. My second favorite team the steelers came thru also...it would be awesome if by some chance they met in the superbowl. I guess my prediction of green bay and the raiders going to the super bowl is out the window. Yet i dont feel to bad about that. 🙂

Ya know, I am in a really bad mood about the friggen Packers. That is all I have heard today and everybody (well atleast at Walmart😉 and my sick hubby) was moping and had such crappy attitudes it wasn't funny. They have played better than that and "any given Sunday" they would have beat Atlanta and Farve would have kept his record. What was the deal with the ref telling Sherman that he couldn't review the play when the WHOLE world was watching on TV over and over and over again at different angles? AHHHHHHH :sowrong: And yes, the Packers looked like they didn't want to be there. Since when do they? lol...Ok, I am in a bad mood and I am sorry for ranting. Packers didn't make it, ho hum...oh well. Good luck to the ones who do.

You read my mind, Mimi. 😉

Did the Niners really win by a point? COOL! 😀

that is the thing about the NFL nowadays. it is unpredictable. I will give Michael Vick credit. he is THE man. now let's see what happens in Philadelphia.

as for the Jets, they were quite impressive. i think they can beat the Raiders. they do have a tendency to CHOKE!!!!!

crazy playoffs already. it might be a Jets vs Falcons Superbowl. scary thought huh?
