How 'bout them freakin' Jets, eh? Not to say I told ya so, but....😀
If they can keep up the heat, they can compete with anyone in the AFC right now. Oakland will be tough, but they've beaten them in the Black Hole twice recently, and I don't think the Jets are intimidated by location. I love this Pennington kid! Just goes to show that you don't need a cannon arm to run the West Coast offense. Actually, he reminds me a bit of when Peyton Manning came into the league and made an immediate impact with his abilities and leadership qualities. Not to mention that New York is arguably the least injured team in the playoffs right now, that counts for a lot this late in the year. I'm just amazed at the balance between offense, defense and special teams that the Jets have.
And a big Yee-Haw to Atlanta for breaking the Lambeau mystique. Any given Sunday, folks....any given Sunday. Is it just me, or did Green Bay look like they didn't even want to be there?
As I'm writing this, the Sunday games haven't been played yet, so there's no guarantee that the Jets are even going to Oakland. Who says Cleveland can't beat Pittsburgh? In this crazy year, anything can (and has) happened.
