Jade the Spy One Shoe One Sock Hop to the Doc
Jade, your favorite one-shoed spy is back, but this time her only mission is to hop across town to see her orthopedist. Unfortunately, too many bungled missions have resulted in foot abuse so severe that she can't even put her poor foot down on the ground any more, let alone wear a proper shoe on her throbbing ped. She can only tip toe around on a foot that seems permanently bent downward. So every morning our miserable little spy puts on her nylons and one heel on her good foot, and then pulls out one of the many gray socks she has had to buy as the only comfortable thing she can wear on her bad right foot to protect it, form dirt rain, people stepping on it, etc... Of course it gets so dirty and destroyed by day's end she has to discard it. She also lives in a building with no elevator, so every day she has to brave the many steep stone stairs. Halfway through this ordeal she inevitably must pull off her one good shoe and hop down it in her bare nylons foot pausing at the bottom to put her one lonely heel back on. Today she must hop and gimps on her socked tip toes and one shapely good leg to get to the doctor's office. Hopefully in time and with therapy she can one day set her poor foot down again and wear a real shoe on it... One can hop and dream, can't they?
