Hello hello again (um… shaboom shaboom??)

Wanted to post this illustration to introduce you to the third and final Bounce Chick: Jane. For those of you that have read TOB, Jane is the one tickled out of her mind by the mummies ;P

Janey is the rambunctious tom-boy of the group. The first to run head first into any dangerous situation and accept any dare, Jane is constantly getting herself and her gorgeous room mates in tons of trouble. Think of Janey as the adventure sport playing, leather wearing, ruckus causing, techno listening to, snow boarding, surfing, skate boarding, fearless little hottie who never runs out of energy.

Despite her Wild-Gal exterior, Jane definitely has a softer side. She is the last of the Chix to admit that she loves tickling, in fact, she is sort of embarrassed by her out of control reactions. But the truth is that Janey secretly loooooooves to be tickled. And like her Roomies, she is ticklish head to toe – but her tummy, underarms, feet, and breasts are probably her most sensitive spots. But Jane’s true weakness is teasing. Once someone really starts to tease Jane – she’s done for.

Being the little fireball of energy that she is – Jane is also first of the Bounce Chix to take advantage of other people’s ticklish situations. She loves tickling her friends, and giggles right along with them as they wiggle and guffaw in hysterical laughter.

In this particular promo pic, Jane has a ticklish little visit from the Swedish Snow Bunnies. This is one of my favorite illustrations that Lotus and I have done because this is one of the first pics that we really tried some new ideas with lighting, shading, and background. Plus I think the Snow Bunnies are wonderful!!!!!

Once again, well drawn and conceived. I love the look and the style. It's not easy to be artful AND cartoony, and the two of you do it very well.

Love that hieroglyphed script on the title page! Very neat design! Janey looks pretty swell too, brimming with confidence (or is it overconfidence!) White Lotus has managed some really startling, moody touches, such as the bursting sunray effect framing our heroine, the whisps of gunsmoke curling from those spent automatics, and the warm, hearthy glow inside the winter lodge! It's comforting to know that Bounce Chix has a take-charge sort like Janey to keep the rest of the team in line... even if she's just as likely to land 'em in restraints!

Came into the forums today and found myself a treat yes yes :super_hap

I see you changed the style a bit again, it resembles the one you used on the Bump in the Night pic, but not exactly like it. I love it!!!! :happy: You actually did small changes to quite a few parts, the nose, mouth and eyes are definetly a little different, but the hair I'd say is the most noticeable change, some rebel strings give it a very nice look. The "Bring it on" pose Jane has in the sketch is just inviting, fantastic. Anatomy is grrrrrrrrreat, and a sizzling figure as always my friend 😉

Jane... check.... Sexy swedish bunnies... check... interesting situation... DOUBLE CHECK!!!!! You got yourself a bomb there B! Great job, but of course, I didn't expect any less from you 🙂 The first panel is very impressive, the girls in the shadows look very mysterious, masterful illustration! I absolutely love the third panel, the one right in the center of the page, sexy blonds in a kind of fluffy bikinis leering over dear Janey ready to tickle her, OH THE ANTICIPATION!!! It doesn't get any better than that 😀 Is that a bellybutton piercing I see there? You're killing me B!!!! Remember I told I was oficially in love with Jane? I just confirmed it 😀 SEXY!!! Amazing job my friend

Lotus, I'm very impressed!!! That smoke coming out of Jane's guns, it's perfect, flawless, I don't even know what else to say :speechles The shading on the sketch is amazing, you manage the light sources like a true master, Jane's shadow on the floor is a fine proof of that :super_hap Jane's hair looks very different on this pic, and that's largely thanks to you, those highlights and shading are very different from any other I've seen from you, superb job, it makes Jane look great 😉

Excellent job on the comic page as well. The choice of colors on the first panel is just perfect, you gave the shadows of the girls a very nice contrast, the fireplace is terrific too, very good light effect on it 🙂 I love all of the coloring in this. I especially like how you did the swedish girl's eyes in the last panel, really smooth coloring with great shading and lighting, just makes her eyes come alive. An impressive job overall :happy:

Yes I did...in fact thought maybe they were either one and the same...or at least cousins...

Andi is still the one for me, but Hailey is a close second....but would not pass up chance to avenge Janey on the dreaded Swedish Snow bunnies!

Now tell me, is my pervy mind playing tricks on me; or does the smoke from the cover page actually form two figures being tickled? *blinks*

The smoke "figure" coming out of the left gun looks like a woman figure sitting on her knees, with her hands bound behind her back, being tickled on her feet by "smoke feathers".

The smoke "figure" coming out of the right gun looks like a woman figure on her knees, her hands bound above her head, being simultaneously tickled on her sides and feet.

Now it could be my pervy imagination playing mind-games with me. But if this was intentional, then SUPER-AWESOME!!! xD and very trippy 😛 and if it's all in my head... well it takes two to tango buster! 😛

Rtl: Dude.... DUDE...... um... dude. I can't believe you saw the smoke figures. I figured nobody but me would even care about the smoke. I'll be dammed. A lot of the detail was lost in the coloring process (Lotus and I had never really tried smoke before) and I didn't think anyone would still be able to see the figures. Amazing! Now I must issue a challenge. Can you tell me what the smoke forms in Temple of Bounce when the Chix bounce out and the smoke is wrapped around Teeka (the sexy egyptian babe)??? If you can - I'll fed ex you a sugar cookie.

Splendid and spiffy besides! Your work is always so full of life and energy it is, and that I like! For some odd reason, I am reminded of an old Sonja/Sonya comic by Ozzy when I see the first. Perhaps it is the tomb/underground aspect (I refer to the comic of Ozzy's where Sonya is holding a wall up as she is "attacked" by what I believe was a sprig of parsley or something similar.). Two thumbs up, eh? :happy:

I just got your PM (Big cheers to you!)
I wanted to add a few comments regarding this work
1. Maybe it's not a huge detail, but the swedish chicks' different hair'do's is a nice and cute and obviously represents more work, but I appreciate that you took a few more minutes looking for appropiate hairdos (Sorry but there are a few fans that notice every little thing).
1a. Before I start this I apologize to any European TT member, especially the female ones, I know it's a very well known cliche that swedish girls are cute, naive and hungry for, how to say it?, "interaction" but you portraited them in a hot yet respectful way.
Bonus points - - - why=? because the chicks are, and thank God for this, not the hairy creatures that most European girls are "famous for"
2. I love the first panel where the "hidden in the dark" silhouettes for a second look like, pick one, the Cobra Commander (from G.I.Joe) or a Mandalore Warrior (those ones like Jango or Boba Fett) nice "mystical" detail
3. I hope it's a trend that doesn't end soon, it started on the Devil/Angel pic where you had multiple tickle scenes, on this one is great, please, try to do at least 2 tickle scenes for each one of your following works
4. The snow clothing for all the girls was fabulous, a little effort turns a good piece into a wonderful one
5. The dialogue was also great, I love your punchlines that are always related to, what else?, tickling
6. Finally, you say Janey would probably "share" my taste in music?

A beautiful winter themed comic page! I really like how you handled the lighting to create that warm log cabin-atmosphere, especially in that first panel (with the silhouettes)where you have either the ambient light (dark blue) and the light of the burning hearth reflecting off the shadowy figures. And now I'm mentioning the colouring I should congratulate White Lotus with the exellent colouring job on this one!
I also what to add that I particularly love the extreme perspective (which is an integral element of your style) you used in the last panel.

Darth Godflesh: Thanks, my good friend. I really appreciate all the feedback! The Bunnies definitely have a different hair style. That is something that I have been trying to experiment with a lot. I am trying to get more variety in body types, hair do's and whatnot. Thanks very much for noticing. Yeah - that first panel came out great. Credit there all goes to Lotus. I told her what I was thinking, in terms of the silhouettes, and she made it happen. She is the bomb for sure! I am so glad you liked the multi panel tickling. It can be difficult to get it all into a one page comic. Most of the one pagers I am working on right now are splash pages. IE; single panel "snapshots" of the tickle action. Less story, more tickling.

Thanks also for noticing the details on the clothing. One of the fun things about the Bounce Chix is that they are always in a different place, so I get to play with different costumes and backgrounds quite a bit 😉

I'm also glad the dialog came out okay. Always a challenge to make the story funny, sexy, and tickley at the same time. Thanks again very very very much for the feedback and the support. I always look so forward to reading your messages 🙂

Scav: Yeah - the coloring, and the ambiance really came out great on this one. White Lotus deserves major kudos. I happen to know that this pic was kind of a milestone for her. She learned a lot, and I think it really helped her style develop a ton. But I won't steal her thunder. She will probably ant to post on this thread soon too.

Just wanted to say thanks. And thanks also for the input about the forced perspective. I like to try and engage the viewer as much as possible. So I throw in a lot of forced camera angles 🙂 I am also so glad you like the feet. I know they are far from realistic, but I like how plump and ticklish they look. Thanks so much for the kind words!
