Jedi Outcast.....5 Stars!

Has anyone gotten the new "Jedi Outcast" game for PC yet? If not, I highly recommend it. It's got to be the best Star Wars themed-game put out so far, and I'm only through the second level!

The graphics are unbelievable...even the scoring from the weapons stays on the walls after you shoot. The enemy AI is brilliant...rather than stand there an get slaughtered, Stormtroopers and Imperials leave and set off alarms or go and get reinforcements if you don't take them right out. The aiming takes a little getting used to, but that's because of the realism involved with the weapons you use and the armor they wear.

There are even different styles of lightsaber techniques you can use to combat different obstacles...light fast attacks...heavy barrages, the works. Just like using a real one!

Even if you're not a big Star Wars fan, you should still check this game out....it's really pretty good.

One warning...make sure you have plenty of RAM available...64 megs to be exact. My computer only had 64 to begin with, so I had to drop another 128 bar in there before I could even play it. No biggie, I needed 192 anyway.😀

This game is excellent, I bought it about a week ago and it keeps blowing me away. I'm in awe. I love the Wookiee bowcaster.

I bought it a while ago, and I must agree, it's a great game. My computer has a little trouble running it, so I won't be playing on-line for a while. Fret not, ShiningIce, while the game focuses on a Jedi, you can play against computer controlled Jedi in multi-player and throw them against the walls with the glorious powers of the Sith. I prefer the mind set of the Jedi, hate's not my thing, but the powers of the Sith are much cooler. Force Grip in that game rocks, you can lift your opponents and smash them into walls, such great fun. Force lightning works somewhat like it did in Jedi Knight. Force Throw, Force Destruction, and Deadly Sight have been removed, but have been replaced with Force Drain, Force Rage, and Force Energize. I also got Rogue Leader for the gamecube, it's a lovely game. That's the first time I piloted Slave 1. Yes, I am a Star Wars nerd, and proud of it.

Aye, I couldn't agree more. Star Wars is not only cool, but a fun universe. Don't get me wrong, I don't see death around every corner as fun, but instead of plasma blasters we could use laser tag guns. I really think Lucas Arts should set up a huge laser tag arena that provides laser tag blasters and vests with a Star Wars theme. I would live there for at least three weeks at a time.
